HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! What's your plan for your man/women/kids?

Happy Valentines Day to all my friends and soon to be friends at myLot. If you were here I would give you all a great big hug and a teddy bear with a big giant picture of me! Lucky you!! LOLOLOL Seriously though I hope you have a great day!! I am wearing my heart pants, socks, and Im trying to look festive. My honey woke me up at midnight to say Happy Valentines Day. I think that stuff like that is touching. I dont like the gifts that have no thought. Today is all a surprise. When I woke up this morning their was a small gift bag with a monkey and candy from my baby girl. I cried because she's 14. Fourteen year olds are supposed to be selfish. She spent her money and even had it ready without anyone knowing anything. Then I went to get breakfast at McDonalds and my friend got me a stuffed dog holding a littler dog. Its so cute. Once again I was touched. I didnt expect it. I am finally picking the right people in my life. I think I am so emotional because I have finally got it right. How about you? What are your plans. Hubby and I had an inexpensive, but nie day. We both bought eachother something at our favourite chocolate shop, then we had a coffee at Second Cup, and then we came back here to listen to our favourite Croatian and Serbian programs on the radio. We love those programs on Sundays, and it was so great that Valentine's Day fell on a sunday. :)

I called my daughter last night and visited with her and the grand kids and son in law. Hubby and I exchanged cards, and he also bought me a nice new plant. It is a bromeliad with red on top. I cooked a good breakfast, and a nice lunch. My husband is at work now. I am going to visit my sister and my son yet this evening, so it will be a full day. I am so glad that you are having such a good day today. It does feel good when things fall into place that way. I do not like the gifts that come just because you are supposed to get gifts. Hubby knows that I love live plants for any occasion and he has been outdoing himself this year buying them for me. I just hope I can keep them alive. They are not huge plants, but they are neat. This is three new plants in three months. Wow!!!

that you are having such a great Valentine's Day! I think
that your daughter is wonderful to think of her Mom and do
all that for you on her own! Obviously, you are doing something
right! My boyfriend and I have been having some problems, but
we are trying to work things out! He dyed my hair for me today,
which is a good thing! I did some errands for him yesterday
and tonight I am making him a special dinner! We haven't exchanged
gifts yet, but I'm sure that they are going to be just a little
something since we are still kind of having problems! But,
at least we are being civil for today!

Thanks for the big hug, teddy bear and your picture...that one in your image photo is fine hehehehe. if this is true then i will truly be touched. you are one of the first mylot friends who gives us gifts for the valentines day.
I received presents from neighbors and friends and of course from my honeypie and cards from my kids!

I am single as always so I spent the day with my family. We dined out and just had fun. My brother wasn't able to come with us like before because he now has a girlfriend. Valentines for me is one of those occassions when I can be with my loved ones/ family. It doesnt really matter to me if I am single. Valentines is about love in general and not just "lovers". hope you all had a great one. :D

I gave my boyfriend a white mug and a small bowl with a red heart on it, and I put a fridge magnet in the mug that is a small stuffed sheep holding a heart that reads 'I love you'. My boyfriend loves to eat yoghurt and therefore I thought it would be nice to give him his own personal bowl to eat it from.
I am not spending this valentines evening with him because I have tickets to a celtic ball that takes place only once a year, and he understands. He doesn't like this music himself so I am going with a friend and he has a quiet evening at home. He starts work at 4.30 am the next morning so not going out is a good thing in this case.

We went to the house of my friend last February 14. That meeting serves as our Reunion since we did not make it last year on our Christmas Party. We spend time talking about our life. We watched a Westlife Concert on DVD. We sing and dance too. We were so happy. What we all done was to laugh at each other's problems. How I missed them. When I went home I bought foods and Tikoy for my family and we celebrated Valentines at home. My valentines when out happy. Belated Happy Valentines to all!

Hi dloveli,
I spent the day relaxing at home and to my surprise had two of my gentlemen friends drop by with gifts in tow. I thought it was sweet and it was very much a surprise as I didn't expect anything this year being as though botton line is I am still in the "single" status. So it was really nice to find out that these two men took time out of their day to put thought into a gift for me. I am very much appreciatve and had a great day! thanks for asking ;)

Valentines day was special and always a big box of chocolates and a pretty Valentine, sometimes we ate out.What are people like me supposed to do, give ourselves gifts? no big deal, I will live through the hoopla and commercialism of this day.

This day is a time to share with special heart. To all my lotters, I want to say a happy happy valentines day....Well, in my point, I am so happy for now because it spend me a lot of time to my family and most especially that my husband great me a soft valentines day. Well, we stay our home to celebrate a valentines day and watching movies and eating for any foods like i said that this day i am so happy.

My husband and I don't typically make a big deal out of Valentine's Day. This year we went out to dinner on Saturday to beat the rush which was a really smart move for us. Then, on Sunday we just mostly spent the day quietly at home. My mother came over so that I could do her taxes for her and then she kept an eye on the children so that he and I could run to Sam's Club and get the television that we have picked out on Friday that we wanted to replace our old television with. It was a pretty good day.

Unfortunately nothing ever since we got a child. Its sad but I hope something for the better will change. During our anniversary he did not come home, during celebrating new year & christmas he is not here, now on valentines day its just me & my son watching Disney Channel nothing has change.
