So I'm curious as to who has been watching some of the Olympics so far? I missed the opening ceremony, but I have watched some of the events so far, including Women's Moguls and 1500m Speed Skating. It sucks for the two Koreans that crashed into each other...otherwise, it was very likely that the South Koreans would've claimed Gold, Silver, and Bronze. :O What events have you guys watched so far, if any?

I taped the openeing ceremonies and watched it Sunday. I watched last night's broadcast also. Basically I'm a figure skating junkie and I'll be watching all the broadcasts that have skating...

Cool! I wish I had a way to record it, but I unfortunately can't. I'm gonna be missing so much of the Olympics during these next 2 weeks because of school. :O How were the opening ceremonies? What did you think about the figure skating results from last night?

I missed the opening ceremony's too! I've seen a bit of the luge and speed skating. Oh, and that awesome skiing where they go off the jumps and then like fly! Have you seen that? It's so awesome! I keep forgetting the Olympics are on though and missing them!

Lol, yea, I'm never really sure when they start, I kinda just check every once in a while. Yes, I know what you're talking about! Though I haven't seen it in this Olympics yet...I only really started watching a lot of Olympics starting with the Winter 2006. Before then, I didn't really care much about it, but it's really amazing who good these athletes are, and it's always and inspiration to watch.

moneymaker92, The South Koreans lost was a pity indeed or what a finishing it would have been. So far, I am following the telecasts on ice hockey, speed skating and figure skating. Finland's ladies ice hockey team has by far been impressive whilst China's Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo celebrated with posting a new world best score in the pairs figure skating short programme at the Vancouver Olympics. The way they brought the competition to the favorites is admirable indeed. I am also interested on the outcome for the skier from Jamaica who will compete in the Ski Cross and I hope that he will win a medal, a first one as well for Jamaica.

Yeah, that would have been pretty epic if they hadn't slipped. I haven't seen any ice hockey yet...but I did hear the U.S. women's team did well against China. I really enjoyed the pairs skating, and I'm glad that Shen and Zhao did so well, they really deserved the Gold, especially after all the hard work they put in. Have fun watching the Olympics! :)

I was very happy that Canada won their first gold. It was a very impresssive preformance. I watch the short program for couples and there were some good preformances there also. Boy am I old, some of those couples looked like they were in grade school. I am enjoying what I watch.

Lol, it's good that you're enjoying it. It's always inspirational to watch such great athletes competing, especially the story with Bidoleau's brother.

I saw some of the opening ceremony. I have been watching short track speed skating. Way to go Apollo Ono! I don't get into moguls at all. I don't like it! I do like watching figure skating the pairs are currently doing their short programs. I hope to catch the alphine skiing when it happens. I watched the men's luge and thatis one weird sport! To bad the country of Georgia lost a luger after he cashed during a training run. This is what I am watching.

Yeah, I'm watching the skating too...Too bad the Americans don't seem to be too strong in that. The Chinese pair that went first were beast though, I kinda hope they win.

Well, for the most part, events are going on throughout the day, so you should be able to see something...unless your working 24/7, lol. :O

I have only seen a bit of the short track skating and the luge. I bet the young man who got bumped and taken out by his countryman felt about incident. if the third place guy had been satisfied with a sweep by his country instead of trying to improve his position, they would have had a wonderful memory for life. As it is...

Yea, accurate observation. I noticed on the replay the one guy trying to pass the one in second. Glad for the Americans though, as they were able to get Silver and Bronze because of that, lol. =D

I wanted to see some hockey yesterday. I haven't seen a schedules yet, so I'm not sure if they even had a gme yet. I'm not really that interested in the winter Olympics anyway. There are too many other sporting events going on right now to divert my focus from.

Yeah, I don't even know where to find the schedules, lol, but I enjoy watching pretty much any event, so I kind just go with the flow. Really? What other sporting events are on right now?? I kinda just thought all the focus was on the Olypics...o.O

I watched the opening ceremony and it was very amazing! I think it ranks one of the top 3 opening ceromonies for me behing China's. I have watched the Luge, Speed Skating, and Womens Moguls also! It was difficult for me to watch the first Luge race, I'm sure it was hard for the guy to after the Luge tradgety. Always like the Winter Olympics better then Summer! Hope everyone is enjoying so far!

Aw man, now I wanna go see it! Hope I can find a video of it online, especially if it was comparable to China's. Yeah, it was really depressing with the Luge accident...I think they should've built a wall there to prevent the chances of anything like that even happening in the first place. .
