I was born on December 7. This is the day that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, back in 1941, which was the event that got the U.S. involved in World War II. The U.S. getting involved in the war changed the course of history to say the least. I used the mylot search feature, and I also found these other interesting facts about December 7. In 1987, Mikhail Gorbachev came to the United States to meet with Ronald Reagan. The meeting resulted in the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Force (INF) Treaty. This treaty called for the elimination of all ground cruise and ballistic missiles and launchers in Europe with ranges of 320 to 3,400 miles. In 1931, Ford produced the last Ford Model A, discontinued production of the Model A, and closed the factory to get ready to produce the famous Ford V8. There were several other items listed, but none of them really seemed interesting to me. By the way, you didn't tell us what event(s) happened on the day of your birth...

January 12, appears to be a slow news day. Biggest event was the 1995 Kobe Japan earthquake.
