Mothers day coming up soon how will you celebrate?

I know Mothers Day or Mothering Sunday varies from Country to Country. In England it is on 24th March this year. How will you celebrate either as a Mother yourself or as a Daughter? This year is going to be a very interesting Mothers Day for me. For years I have been the Mother but now this year there are three Mothers in the family as my Daughter has become a Mum and my Sons partner is a Mum so it will be the three of us celebrating. My other daughter will not be left out as she is a GodMother and so can be a Mum as well on that day. We are all going out for a meal and hoping that we will be joined by the two other Grandmothers that my Grandchildren have. Whatever you do on Mothers Day I wish you a wonderful day and hope that all the washing up and clearing up gets done for you too. x

Mother's Day in the United States is not until May. I always send my mom a card and a scratch ticket. I buy both her Mother's Day present and birthday present at Christmas, so I can save money on postage and get her better gifts by going to the after-Christmas sales. I leave them in the closet at home with labels so she;ll know what to open when.

It will be just another day for me, I think. My ex husband was never one to remind the boys of mother's day and they are not in the habit of remembering special days. I'm sure they'll call me at some point because one of their friends will probably mention it. I'd love to get a card from them!
