Do you use a fresh towel for ever bath/shower?

Just wondering how many reuse a towel. We do. Typically wash them once a week. We buy white towels so we can bleach them. I put this in the finance area since it saves a lot of money not washing all those extra towels.

We use the same towels for about a week or so and then wash them. Sometimes they go for two weeks if we forget. I do not understand why you would want to buy white towels so you can bleach them. We use dark coloured towels and do not use any harsh chemicals in our home like bleach. We try to wash things as little as possible and only do a wash if the machine is full as this saves time and water.

Your way is good for the economy. However, I love white towels so I can see any dirt. Hidden dirt doesn't bother me.

Here at home, since we are living in a tropical country,we usually bath 2 to 3 times a day. And,even if we hang dry our towel after each use,it doesn't feel good to reuse again and again. So,i changed our towel twice a week. It's good to use a fresh towel after each bath.

Nice to see no matter where people are, we are all basically the same.

Hello, We wash our towels twice a week. A towel not properly clean is of not much use. Besides health related reasons, a towel doesn't last long if not cleaned properly. I sometimes forget to maintain such rigorous routine though, my mom is quite cautious about these things. You better ask my mom. She knows everything about it. God bless you

If left to properly dry, I don't think towels need washing as much as we do. As stated before, I think most of the reason for washing them so much is simply habit.

hi! I also use towels after taking a bath, but i don't wash it after each bath/shower. I even don't wash it once a week, because it doesn't get dirty at all. i wash it once in a month, and maybe it can sound weird to you but it is a fact :)

I always use a clean towel when I take a shower. I don't know why, but I always have. Maybe it is because I have always done it since I was a kid. I have to admit that I end up doing a lot of laundry, but I got used to it.

I don't see the need to wash my towels often since I'm just using them to wipe off clean water. I do wash my towels once a week because I know some skin sloughs off and the towels pick up odors from the house. I see no reason to wash them every time--I have a son that does that, I can't understand why. It costs him an extra $2 a week at the laudromat which he can ill afford.

My husband and I will generally wash the towel we use once a week, or maybe we'll wait two weeks. We use the same towel. The wash cloths are usually washed by his mom, and so those are washed, well I guess as frequently as needed...

I wash my towels once a week. It takes about a week for them to get dirty. But my hair towels are washed twice a week.

Hmmm... for what context do this question stands, i wonder? My family usually washes the towels about once every two or three weeks... usually we dry them after use.

I require everyone in the house to use a towel at least three days running. But I have a confession - I like me a nice, clean, unused towel. Since I do most of the laundry I can excuse myself away. I use one towel to dry my hair and another for my body. I usually wash linens on Wednesday and Saturdays. All the towels get washed then. Sometimes I think we waste too much water washing so often. My body is clean after the shower, so the towel should last longer.
