I have a friend in college. He is also one of my best friend and always guide me good.He has a talent in palmistry. When we show him our hand he will tell about our life and what and all we do , our character and some other stuffs like that.Really he is good in that.I also shown to him and told some 80% correctly.I got shocked.Every one showed to him and we enjoyed it very much. For some of them he told some bad things and we do fun of that and we enjoy those incidents. But apart from enjoying whether it can believed or not is my question. He told that they believe these things.I searched in internet and I saw there are lot of informations about that. Some said it is true and some said that it is not true, just for fun like that.I have seen lot of tv shows about that. Most of the people believe. In my country they use right hands for boys and left hands for girls.I don't know about other countries. But it is being followed for many years.Whether it is true ? Have anyone had any experience in this ? Share your views.

Even if you don't believe it, just enjoy it. It sounds like great fun. Never try to predict your future. Always remember that. TATA.

Yes its exciting to know what will happen in our future but one must not believe it blindly. We must take it as fun and forget it as soon as the session gets over. I have had an experience where the woman said good things about me and she also said I will have great financial future but I can't see it as of yet.

I believe it in sometimes and other times I don't think they are always right. Some things they predict comes out true, which I think is coincidence but there are things which are unique for a particular person and that comes true as well. I believe on Gem Stones which people in India use a lot. Different stones for various kinds of strength. Some wish to have good wealth, so want good health, some want success, some want good friends and family. Some want to control anger etc. This is something which has it's origins in ancient india and also has some kind of connection with astrology. It is quite exciting to know hoe exactly they study thgose things in people's palm.

Cool, you wear a "Neelam" Can you tell me the advantages of that stone. I have always wanted to know. I am right now wearing "Coral" which mostly everyone wear for having good Health According to my zodiac sign my stone is Sapphire and Diamond embedded in Gold. Yes the metal in which the stone is embedded also matters. If the combination is not accurate, you won't get the maximum results. This is what the astrologers say.

There are many people in my country who practices such thing and there are many who believes. I don't mind asking them to read my faith on my palms but I don't really have to believe it though. I know that you make your own destiny, and that the saying "Your faith is in you hands" does not exactly mean I should take it literally. I find this amusing sometimes, though.

Personally, I have always been cynical to this type of stuff like palm-readings and fortune-tellers To me, the lines of my palms just occur naturally depending on how I have clenched and creased my hand over the years, instead of some way of predicting my future.

Yeah I have some class mates that know how palmistry works. They told me about it and siad things about the line of life and love or other things, but in my opinion it`s nothing more than a waste of time. Sincerely I don`t believe in palmistry because some lines on your skin can`t tell you anything. That`s opinion, but I respect yours when if I do not agree with it.

hey gany15k, I'm from India and i am very familiar with palmistry. But I personally do not believe in all this stuff, Though scientific research is going on in this field. And talking of experience i hadnt had any positive experience. And i agree most of the people believe it, may be its true but i have a rational view over these things. So until there's no proof that its true i cant believe on it.

Hi Gany, I once worked with a person who read palms and in my own case I was shocked that he knew so much about me and the things that were happening in my life. Another person who I knew only briefly and said he would read it another time after glancing at my palm made a couple of remarks that were absolutely correct. I had an older brother who had his palm read as a young man and at sixty said everything had happened as he had been told it would. She had stopped reading at a certain time and told him she would read the rest later but she never did. The fact that everyone's fingerprints are different suggests to me that there may be some truth in it. Blessings.

Whether one believes it or not, the ones who know that art knows what it is. the lines on the hand does not tell lie, but the person who reads it may. there is a science behind it, but not many can grasp it. it is by experience one can tell with certainty these things. its not about predictions, its for guidance. when a certain things points to some impending event in near future, we can use it as a guide and take necessary precautions. that is the only idea behind all these. if someone uses it for making money or to misguide someone, who's fault is it?

As they say, these are for you to realize what your future may be heading for. But it does not necessarily mean that everything they foretell will happen. It is up to you on how your future will be and most of the time, if there is a negative reading thru your palm it will be up to you to turn things around. So see to it as a positive thing instead of a negative way.

I don't believe anyone can tell about the future. Palmistry is just for fun but that can cause lots of unneeded stress for some who may become paranoid by what they learn so its best to just not do it. It's like knowing you'll die in 10 minutes who crazy you'd get. Or knowing that you'll win the lottery how impatient you'd get. So I don't believe in it neither I think its really very fun.

no i dont believe in those things . they wont tell anything exactly they will tell something generally and the things they tell will happen casually . i dontn think that is true . we cant judge anything by just seeing our hands . its just a mere piece of luck if what they say happen . i would never believe in these kinds of things .

well gany even i have a friend who can read palmistry and even his predictions are almost correct. But that is only one side of the coin, the other side is that it really doesn't have any thing to do with our future.remember even if your friend predict that you r going to become the richest person then the fact remains the same that its your hard work that will fetch you the money and not those predictions.

I am a non believer when it comes to palmistry. I believe that there are lot of people who are charlatans. I do find it hard to believe that people can read about your past from just looking at your hand. Perhaps they can tell what type of job do you do, but I find it hard that they will tell you about what you did in your past is another story.

I have always been interested in palmistry, horoscopes, tarot cards and thinsg like that. I have never met a "professional" palm reader or anything, but I think it would be really interesting to do so. I'm not a superstitious person, an I don't necessarily believe in this kind of fortune telling, stuff but I am very open to it.

Hmmm.! I too agree with you.I also never met a professional person. But my friend have met once and he said that the person who saw his hand told all the things in normal life would happen. Many of them doing like this. But I'm very curious in knowing things about that.Anyway thanks for your response..

I believe palmistry is a science and art. The readings have thier own basis or rationale. It may fortold the past nor predict the future but we have to put in mind that we draw our own path.

Why palmistry ? ....we can always say a person is of middle ages will have family problems, financial difficulties or illness by just looking at a person. They will cheat you by saying this. They won't know about themselves, what they say about others.??
