do you believe in love at first sight? how about soulmate?

I think I actually had a similar discussion some years ago... No I firmly do not believe in love at first sight, attraction and lust certainly, but love at first site would have to be the very shallowest sort of love seeing as it is only based on a first impression. I firmly believe that we make a decision to love someone - that way, we are responsible for that decision and are not able to say 'well, we fell out of love...'when it doesn't go to plan. Some may think that your head ruling your heart is unromantic, but think of it like this - if I decide to love you, how much more real is my love than if I just have a random 'feeling' that I am going to pursue until the feeling is no longer there. Soul-mates are a fantasy dreamed up by people that can't make the decision to fall in love... soulmates are about as real as the tooth fairy....IMHO (not to say that some couples are not ideally suited, just that it is a fallacy to say that there is just one perfect mate out there whom you must track down...)

I believe that everyone has a soulmate, it's not something that you would find. it's something you would know. It's just a matter of finding that perfect fit for you in this world full of strangers. Most people would settle for the closest thing though as I also believe that it's possible for you not to meet your soulmate in a lifetime but those that do should consider themselves very lucky For love at first sight, I'm not sure about love. Like is a definite yes but love at first sight is still something I've yet to experience

love at first sight.. hm... personally i think there is no love at first sight... maybe admiration or simply crush but not love... love takes time to develop.. you need to find out who and what the person is like before you actually fall in love with them... hehe.. thats what i think,,... even if the one you have in front of you is your soulmate, you still have to find out something about him/her before you fall.. good day

love at first sight is only an admiration that can possibly bloom into love. i do believe in soul mates and i also believe that not all soul mates are destined to be together.

Yes I believe in love at first sight. I've had several crushes in the past until I met this guy whom I fell love at first sight with. The feeling was so strong compared to other guys I've been attracted to before. I've experienced the happiest, saddest and most unforgettable experiences with him. And it took me long years to get over my feeling with him. As for the soul mate, I wish it's true and if it's true, I hope to find him soon. :

hi! Yes, i believe in love at first sight, but I haven't met it till now. well, maybe once but the girl i have fallen in love with, didn't share my passion and feelings. She even didn't knew that I have fallen in love with her, maybe because I was to shy to tell her, and maybe the fault about that, that she didn't noticed me is only mine!

Yes I believe in love at first sight, On everyone shoulder is a little love angel, who is waiting the real time to shoot the armor arrow. I now that love at first sight actually happens, because it has seenet in real life. I think people is feel a soulmate on that person he/she love.
