When and where do you listen to your iPod?

My brother gave me his old Ipod for christmas. I always thought it would come in handy but I have honestly only listened to it about half a dozen times since I got it. I think the reason is because I don't use public transport and I don't walk anywhere really. When I was a teenager I would catch buses nearly every day and I would carry around my big old discman everywhere! I just don't use my iPod. Do you use yours or is it sittingi n the back of your underwear drawer like mine is?

The only time that I ever get to listen to mine these days is when I go and fetch my daughter from school, at this time I am on my own so I can listen to it in peace!

I have over 1000 songs (maybe more noe) on my Ipod so I listen to it in the car, while I'm exercising, just before I go to bed and when I'm on the computer. Radio is obsolete these days and CDs are a pain. So Ipod is it.

I use my ipod mostly at home while doing work with my computer or while lounging ins my room. I would rather have that thing working on the background than my PC working double time.

I listen to an hour of music a day on average. Sometimes more and sometimes less.

I haven't gotten an iPod because I'd probably use it as much as I used my Walkman and every gadget before that...I didn't use them. They just cluttered up my cabinets. So I've sold all this kind of stuff on Craigslist and made some of my money back.

You do not need to go out for a walk or get on the bus to listen to an Ipod. All you have to do is to go to the nearest electronics store or department store, get yourself an Ipod dock. Plug it in any plug in the house, and insert the Ipod. Then you can listen to it while you are doing your housework, or there is nothing on Tv. You can even listen to audio books on the Ipod.

My sister and brother-in-law got me an ipod two years ago for Christmas. I didn't think I would get any use out of it at all. But I use it all the time. I listen to it in the car. Why would I want to listen to the radio when I have a customized ipod playing my favorite songs, ya know? Or I listen to it when I'm out walking my dog. And it comes in handy on car trips when the person with me doesn't want to hear any music, but I do.

I'm either in the car with the cd or radio on, or I'm at the computer with nothing but my brain on - well, sometimes the TV I don't think well with lots of external noise

If you knew me, you would know I am a music ADDICT. Every time I have a chance to be alone, whether it be at home, on the street, in the car...I ALWAYS have my iPod in. I have over 2,000 songs and listen to my iPod probably once a day. I even have a set up in my bathroom so when I am in the shower, I can plug my iPod in and it plays in the bathroom. Gives me something to sing too. When I'm cleaning, when I'm showering, when I'm driving, when I'm walking, when I'm working, when I'm lying in bed, when I'm myLotting...my iPod is always in. I honestly would be lost if I didn't have one. In fact, I went on vacation and forgot my iPod there and I didn't get it back for over a week - I truthfully thought I was going to die. I am iPod obsessed

Are you kidding, I listen to mine whenever and where I can. I love music, which is why I still prefer myspace over facebook, because I have a playlist I can listen to and change whenever I want..:)

Who needs an iPod when cassette players are still in existence? Seriously, though...I use my tape player to listen to whenever I have to go gallivanting around the town. Of course, now I have to buy myself a new one because I wore my old one out. lol

I use public transport a lot and I have to walk a lot too, so the iPod is very handy for me, and it makes all the trips more bearable. I think I wouldn't be able to live without it, or I would live but I would be very bored every time I have to spend a long time in the train

I would use to listen to my ipod a couple of days per week just because there are a lot of songs on it that I like to hear. Now I have almost 1000 songs on it so far and my bf is using it in his new truck because his cd player doesn't work. I'm not even sure how he has it plugged in, I haven't looked but it must be some type of adapter.

I like listening to some tunes when I'm out on my bike-I keep the level down so I'm always aware of traffic coming up behind Me..My new car doesn't have an "Ipod compatible" socket in the radio/cd player, but I have a gadget that'll send the music by radio to a free channel,so it'll play through the car's speakers..useful! Ever go out walking?

my sony is still lying in my laptop bag, the battery has run down, don't remember the last time i used it, i had saved around 180 us dollars and now i don't use it much, a nice 2.5 oled screen, i was so dying to buy it, premium ex-earphones and all, what happened now? i haven't switched it on for like weeks, at least i am able to use it's earphones in my laptop, i mostly use it while m traveling by bus and train, even i had a discman earlier but things just became smaller now, i guess it will stay in my laptop bag until i am going to travel somewhere, i would charge it only then i guess.

Like you, I got my iPod Shuffle from my sister as Christmas gift. Since then, I have been listening to it everytime and everywhere. Even while lying in bed, I will still listen to it. When I commute to work, the iPod comes into use. I find it small and convenient to carry around, and it tucks easily into my pants pocket. If you really don't use your iPod often, you may want to consider selling it or giving it away.

It's true what you say. I used to listen to my ipod daily and several times a day. I was lost when the battery would be empty at the beginning of the day. That was when I used to walk to school, or catch busses, now that I've got my driving license and I use the car to move I don't and can't listen to it, so it is now used now and then when I want to relax...pity.
