...and is now a "contributor" on Faux News! In an appearance on Fox News, Greta Van Susteren asked Santorum about whether Obama should further delay his trip to work on health care, and Santorum replied: "I think the Democrats actually worry he may go to Indonesia and bow to more Muslims." : http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2010/03/santorum-obama-may-bow-to-more-muslims-in-indonesia/37652/ What a class act...NOT!! Of course, we in Pennsylvania already knew that. After all, this is the same Rick Santorum who once said gay marriage could lead to polygamy, child molestation and bestiality, who spoke out constantly for tort reform while he and his wife were in the process of suing a chiropractor for a quarter of a million dollars and who home-schooled his kids in Virginia at the expense of his "home" school district in Pennsylvania! We don't really need term limits because conscientious voters know when it's time to limit the terms of a$$holes like this guy! Any thoughts? Annie

Quote : "I think the Democrats actually worry he may go to Indonesia and bow to more Muslims." Not so far fetched as there are still some he missed on his last kiss a$$ trip.

But why didn't he complain about all of the other Presidents who have also "bowed" to foreign leaders and other officials? Annie

Nixon bowed correctly! - Correct Presidential Bow!
Perhaps because none of the others gave a "waiter's bow". No other president has ever bowed so low before a foreign dignitary showing obsequity (while ignoring the Queen of England). Actually in 1971 Nixon gave the correct Presidential protocol bow. Nixon gets the bow right. Slight arch from the waist hands at his side. "Obama's handshake/forward lurch is so jarring and inappropriate it recalls Bush's back-rub of Merkel http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/11/on-president-obamas-bow-to-the-japanese-emperor-an-academic-friend-writes-that-both-the-left-and-the-right-are-wrong.html

Hey...what is wrong with Homeschooling? I homeschool my kids. Well actually I virtual school my kids..but they are still at home with me all day doing school. Anyway to get back to what you were saying...this guy is a jerk. Glad he got booted. Sorry to hear fox news picked him up. But then I am not partial to fox news myself. I go to their website some...but don't really watch it on TV. As for his comment on gay marriage...I do see polygamist using them getting equal rights to fight to get them equal rights...they are already working on it.....the rest of his comment is BS. There is no way it will lead to child molestation or bestiality. Stupid fool. Call me crazy but to tell you the truth I see nothing wrong with homosexuals having the same rights as everyone else....or polygamist...what happens between consenting (key word being consenting) adults (another key word adults)...is really none of my business. I don't like people micromanaging my life...so I don't try to micromanage others lives. Just because I don't practice their life styles does not mean I can't respect their right to have it. No we don't need term limits...as long as voters pay attention to who they are voting for and what kind of politican that person is.

No, Hon, NOTHING is wrong with homeschooling! What was wrong was him and his family, including 6 kids, were living in Virginia so he could be close to D.C. but the taxpayers in his hometown school district in Pennsylvania had to pay for his kids being homeschooled in Virginia. I'll have to look up the details but there was a huge deal made of it here at the time. If it wasn't specified that a marriage is between TWO consenting adults I guess the polygamists could try to make an issue of it. I really don't care what they do either as long as there aren't children being married off and intermarriage. Also, when a man has a bunch of wives and they all get welfare benefits as "single mothers", now THAT'S a problem that affects us all. Anyway, I agree with you about the government micromanaging our private lives. I know all voters don't pay as much attention as they should to their lawmakers but thankfully the voters of my state finally saw the light and got rid of Santorum! Annie

I always respected Theresa Heinz Kerry because she couldn't stand the guy and supported his opponent. I think she did that even before she came out as a Dem when her husband ran for Prez. Santorum always made me cringe: he has that arrogant Cheyney smirk.
