I don't understand why baby/kids need toys? Why they are interested on them? Does it play role in childs development? What kinds of toys do you perfer for childrens? In 2005, toys sales in US about$22.9 billion. So there is big business in toys. Are weapons toys good for children? I think educational toys are great for children. Toys helps them physically too. comments?

I think that children should have positive toys. Toys that teach children. I have seen some toys out there that are just terrible, but parents will buy it for their children because it is the latest toy.

hi vine, there are different kinds of toys. some can build strenght, some can build motor skills, some can challenge their mental skills and so forth an so on. it is up to the parents if they will settle for educational toys or toys that are violent, or teaches violence. since kids has no errands to do or chores to make toys make them busy everyday. it helps parent too to make their children busy. so there are lot of toys to choose from but parents needs to make sure that the toys they will let their children play are toys that are educational and that can help them progress mentally and physically.

yes i believe toys help children develop several things that would help them grow... like when you give them bicycles, they develop their muscles, toys of different colors makes them curious in several ways... i suppose weapon toys could help them understand at an early age that real versions of those stuffs aren't supposed to be played with.. i think it is ok to give it to them with parental guidance

toys are very essential in childs development. it is in this stage that they learn cognitive skills. colors red black and white (RBW) are very important for motor development of the brain. also at this stage that they are curious in alot of things so they will break the toy. they will wonder why the eyes of the doll closes and opens, so they will take out the eye. weapon toys are good if you want to make a soldier out of your kid to develop the instinct while they are still young.

Toys are important for children. "Play" is their entire world and their actual "work". Some toys like push-pull toys and trikes help develop the motor skills. Other types of play would involve playing beside or playing with another child. This somehow helps a child socialize with another. As the child grows older, certain activities like painting and then other toys/games would help develop the child's mental abilities. As for weapons, I guess we can't really fully tell if it's all right. First of all, it would be a fun and imaginative play. It can make a child dream of becoming a policeman who would protect others. But it depending on their play, we won't know if they would turn out to be violent too.

Play time is very important for a childs learning. It helps them develope social skills, creativity, motor skills, imagination and so on and toys are important tools to helping them with these things. Babies need certain toys to stimuate and strengthen their newly developing senses. I know my childrens great grandmother used to say all they needed was some pots and pans and their kids were entertained all day. However some kids become bored of one thing very quickly and need a variety of toys and games to play with.

Hello, Actually babies don't need toys. They are interested in everything they see. Their brains are in formation that time. They are rapidly learning about things, so they will be needing simple but intelligent toys just for the sake of the development of their brain. They can as well learn from nature. But the parents of today seldom feel it safe for the baby. Now, after a few years the baby grows up and can distinguish between pretty and not-so-pretty things. These children have already developed opinions about everything they encounter. So they grow certain wants. At this time they want toys depending upon their traits. The weapons toys are not good at all for children. They subtly induce aggression in their mind, especially applicable to those who have strong dispositions. There are certain toys; when a child plays with them he has some physical exercise, disciplined movements of body parts. It strengthens their muscles and bones. God bless you

Hi vine! I think we all need toy, thats we are so crazy to our laptop or game. Children need toy to develop their brain especially imagination, toy like Lego and cubic are very good toy. Weapon toy I think not suitable for children and I afraid it will teach them to be cruel. Toy are good diversion if we are busy and the children can play with it. Educational toy are good for children my personal favorite is puzzle. I think before we give a toy we had to see its material safe for our children, there are so many toy contain lead, that very danger to their brain especially when they chew it. Buy toy that are safe for children.

it is a bit of learning, a material that a man should know how to use, like an instinct, a kid or a baby do not know anything but she o r he knows how to suck nipples without mom introduce or teach him or her how to suck, instinct of survival it is, then how about toys? you do play toys i know , you can answer your question by yourself

hi vine toys help children to learn motor skills and just to have fun too, and everything around them seems to teach the little ones something. educational toys are the best but plain blocks and leggos are great too as they teach hand eye coordination and also creativity. did you have toys as a child? to me I dislike weapon toys, why teach war, why not teach peace? doctor set , nurse sets, chemisty set s for older kids give them a taste of what life is really about. also musical toys like mozart for babies helps their little brains to develop;yes toys are needed for little children.

Toys play a big role in a child's development. It depends on the child, and their stage. The younger the child the more important it is. Toys help them develop skills they wouldn't have otherwise.
