Well, nowadays a lot of people have cellphones and they always bring it anywhere they go. People think they are a necessity and some can't even live without them. As I have observed, some of my friends sleep really late because of texting and some don't even eat just to save money for load... It's really such a pity that this cellphone- which is very useful is the causing teenagers to be addicted and stuff-- they really shouldn't abuse cellphones and use it properly...

but cellphones can give you instant response, especially when you have to meet someone.Cellphones are portable and mini unlike computers and/or laptops that you really need to settle down before you can use them. For me, I can live without PC. But,I can't live without a cellphone. Comunication is very important.

hi there... i agree with you marcela... well, i can live without pc but i cannot live without my cellphone. cellphone do wonders for me. first thing of its use for me is communicaton: family, friends, loved ones, classmates and all other people connected to me. next thing is, i can do it like a pc does fo my email and stuffs like that. it also has the IM feature fo yahoo, gmail, and hotmail and i use those three messengers. for the banking, one of my bank account i cannot do it on my phone but it's ok because i rarely use that account. my other account in the other bank can be monitored in my phone so i really think it's cool. more or less, cellphone is a thing to live by for me. it's one of the things i go into when i am bored as well, go online, play games, call or text. all fun stuff. also i listen to music and download videos as well.

I also agree with Marcela...I can live without a pc but i cannot live without my cellphone. It's a part of my daily life and a way of communication for me and my family, especially here in the Philippines where almost anybody has a cellphone of their own even the kindergarten kids. I also have a small business that cannot survive with a cellphone.

Other Bad Effects directly made on the Teenagers and Youngsters because of the MMS and Videos Clips Feature included in the Cells which ruins the Young Generation thinking! All though it is containing such Bad Effects people are Crazy for Buying these Cells. Well I could, except it is my only phone, I don't have a home phone. I am not addicted to it though. And I turn my ringer off or leave it in my vehicle when I'm going out to eat, to the library, or to a movie. I think it is a sign of the times when every where you go they have to tell people to please put their cell phones on silent or turn it off. A lot of people now a days don't have the common sense or courtesy to do that on their own. I mean really, who is going to be calling them that is soooo important? the President? lol

the simple answer is NO. my cell phone does not merely connect me to the world that also do a number of things for me. those are from working as a digital personal assistant, camera, radio and music device to my gaming zone. over all my partner.

hi! I think I can't because this is the only way to communicate with my family and if I don't have a mobile phone I have to use the public ones which will be much more expensive, because I will have to pay every time I go there and with the mobile phone we have many free minutes!

I think cellphone now-a-days is not a want anymore, its already a need and a necessity. Imagine life without cellphone especially when you are going to meet up with someone, its so hard to meet up without means of communication, what if there is an emergence or you will be late due to traffic or any other causes how can you update the person that you are going to meet that is already in your meeting place if you do not have a phone, right? so I think, cellphone is a necessity its the added features on our cellphone is the "wants" part. :)

hello lady, I agree with you lots of people are addicted with cellphones and to think they're always also upto with latest models. Before I can't live without my cellphone, but its only a matter of self discipline. Nowadays I only use my cellphone if there's some important messages to send or receive with, or to call when am not at home. I think am more into internet pc user, which give a wide range of communication, information which will be readily available to anyone.

Nowadays Cell-phone has become a bare must have it has also reduced the communication gap. When it comes to living without cell-phone, I guess I am so used to it that even if I am not using it for calls or text, it is one of must have thing for me. Whenever I go, wherever I go I carry my cellphone. If I forgot it somewhere, I feel something is missing. But I see to it that I stay without my cellphone at least 12 hours per month.

As for me, I can't live without my cellphone. Every time when I leave my house, my cell phone has to be with me or else i'd feel that something is missing. Even at home, my cell phone is only bout 3 feet from me.. haha..

As far as I am concerned, I think I can not live without a cellphone.I usually use my cell phone now and then I can be not short of it at all. If I have not got one, I think I may feel I am short a lot of things in my body.

I used to live without one. im pretty certain i will be able to survive without one as well. Its just that to keep up with the phase of technology, we neeed celphones to keep up with the busy schedules of people and to notify the ones we love in a fast way. In short celphone makes our life easier but it doesnt mean we cant live without it ;)
