Let me get this straight. We're going to be gifted with a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president who also hasn't read it and who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke. WHAT THE HELL COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG? Have to admit, this is not mine originally. Sent to me in an email. But it hit home for me, what about you?

It boggles my mind that "we the people" have allowed this piece of crap to become the law. I am quite sure that we have, in the USA, one of the most corrupt, inept, crew of ignoramus calling themselves a government for the people!

I can think of a few things that can go wrong. The first is that Congress may have inadvertently canceled their own coverage when they passed commiecare... http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/13/us/politics/13health.html?ref=todayspaper&utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Morning%2BBell ... Yep the liberals are the gift that keeps on giving in the stupidity department. Then there is a whole mess of things that can go wrong... not the least of which is a shortage of medical professionals and higher insurance premiums ... yet we were told we needed commiecare to make healthcare MORE affordable and easier to access ... I guess they goofed on that one. http://www.heritage.org/Research/Reports/2010/03/Top-10-Disasters-of-Obamacare

What a perfect description of the "health care" bill. I have a problem with the title of the bill--they carefully crafted it as that instead of what it really is, insurance company confiscation. It has NOTHING to do with health care and everything to do with destroying the insurance industry.

i hope if they pass a health care bill it will be good for everyone, i dont mean this people whos to lazy not to have a job. but the older people or people who is disable like me. people who cant afford it. even though i am medicare its hard to keep up with the doctor bills that medicare dont cover. being on limited income bites, and the bill collectors dont want to hear you have limited income, they just want you to pay even if that mean your lights get turn off or you without food. i knew people who need medcail help but cant get it because they cant pay the doctors and cant afford health insurance. even knew a guy who passed away from cancer because his medicare would get max out from treat. but hope it will work for those who need it and not the lazy people who have three or four kids in a damn year

I agree with you basically. I don't know if I feel the way you apparently do though, about the possibility of any of this legislation actually helping anyone.

yeah that's just scary. why haven't they read it? They just don't care? ah who cares what it says, just add some pay raises in there for us, and pass that thing. its just too unbelievable. i think they have read it, but they don't want to say what's in it, because it would piss everyone off.

It is a scary thing. Time to forward this to as many people as you can to get people thinking about it more before we vote in November.
