What do you like to take to work with you for a bag lunch for summer?

I work at an office and our lunch schedule is quite irregular. So I bring with me a fruit and a fruit juice. I would eat at anytime when I feel hungry. I don't eat rice for lunch while other office mates usually do. If I have time to prepare in the morning, I would make a vegetable salad and scrambled eggs with lots of bell peppers, onions and tomatoes. I always see to it that I have fruits and vegetables with me.

Good morning, dear friend! I have a cooler/insulated lunch bag, which seems to work well...and my preference is salad (no matter what..green or fruit)and some Cottage Cheese or Yogurt! Most of my work in the summer-time is outdoors..so plenty of cold drinks...I half fill 4 Litre Jugs of water or juice, freeze them..and then top them up with water or juice, when needed! If kept out of the sun, it takes a while to thaw, so have cold drinks, too, for much of the day! Hope all is well...take Care and Cheers! P.S I am having serious computer issues..so answering discussions is hit and miss these days!

I always found peanutbutter and jelly to be a favorite. Also regular chips and sometimes a soda or milk. I've carried this favorite with me all throughout life. It's easy to make, pack and eat. Maybe I am a kid at heart.

Yes, and you can always change the kinds of jelly that you put on. One week in strawberry, the next raspberry, then grape, etc. Welcome back!

At this time the only job I am working is a type where we do not get actual breaks. I carry cold water along and either granola bars or energy bars. One or two pieces of fruit. Things that can be eaten while on the move. It is usually a drive to get back home, and so I will have an insulated cooler with a sandwich and more fruits or veggies in it, because I am usually famished. I will be providing "security" at a circus for three days this week.

Well, it is a security company, and I just work events at a large arena, hence the circus this time.I have never worked anything serious like you have. An old timer told me that the worst thing he had to deal with was an employee running into a guy wire and injuring himself badly. Security had to care for him until he went to the hospital. I imagine there will be a number of lost children as well.

I'm sure it will be interesting. Security usually is. My kid brother worked security for a PHISH concert and he said that was crazy!

That's a job I haven't had. I've had security, but not at a circus. Hopes everything stays secure and that you even have fun while making money. Thanks and take care.

same as I have done for the last 9+ months, a sandwich (cheese most likely), cauliflower and a piece of fruit
