Do I lose earnings whenever my discussions are deleted?

Hi Saranggola, Our earnings would be deducted from the deleted discussion if myLot has been given us credit for that posts. We would not paid if our discussions deleted. If the discussions (new discussion or older one) deleted, all earnings from that discussion would be deducted. So, if you started a new discussion and the discussion was deleted later, not only your earnings would be deducted but also your responder and commenter earnings too. That is why we need to be careful when we want to started a new discussion. Make sure it is not against guidelines or something that has been covered by FAQs. This one also might get deleted.

I haven't really noticed but I guess earnings would be lost since earnings are based on the number of posts or discussions. Which is why there's no need to post or respond to a discussion you feel would get deleted.

Hi Saranggola, once a discussion thread is deleted, not only your earning, but the earning of those who responded to the thread will be affected. Most of us do not notice the earning deduction, since it is usually one or two cents difference. Unless the thread is very long, and you respond to all the mylotters who participate in the discussion. That rarely happens. If someone makes an unkind remark, then his response will be deleted, and thread remains. In that case, only his earning is affected.

I don't feel like my earnings are deleted. I enjoy my stay here the most.

I've always wondered this as well, since the earnings page is not very detailed it is very hard for me to tell.

I also wonder whether we lose earnings or not. Maybe we don't lose earnings. They just don't count that discussion and not give us credit for it. That's my guess.

Maybe because I noticed that the forum topic that I commented was deleted because it was a spam then I saw my earning diminished by $0.01. I am not sure with this.
