I am saving up for an LED TV as they say LED TV can save a lot of energy. I don't think I would buy a 3D tv. I can't even watch 3D movies. I will get migraines and vomit. Haha.

Good question diogo~!I think LED is still the better buy for right now. It's still relatively new and there's probably a lot of bugs to tweak out. One thing about technology, as soon as you buy one thing, it's outdated in a year lol. The kinks have pretty much been worked out of LED by now, so at least they're a safe bet. I feel the same about other electronics, the newer the technology, the more things they have to tweak that they hadn't foreseen till the mass public started buying them and the problems showed up in quantity. If it was me, I'd wait a year or so before investing in something so new (plus by waiting, the price usually drops a lot too.)

I am still using an old CRT television. I am saving up for a flat screen. I have a couple of nice flat screen monitors and have seen the tv screens in the store and they are quite effective. Are there a lot of 3D programming on TV or is it a passing fad like Betamax. I too would wait a year and see what happens., and let the price go down. However if you are independently wealthy, go for it. Like they say if you have to ask the price, you probably can't afford it.

IMO I would not only wait for the 3D's to be released but I would also wait a couple of years for them to work the kinks out of them. I never buy any electronic items when it is first released. I always wait for consumers to encounter problems and have the company fix them before I buy. I would also say that it's a little too soon to buy an LED
