What can you say about Twitter?

hi, I have a twitter account and find it very useful many times. I too have friends in twitter but i dont know them in life. The idea is to share information which you find important or can be useful. It is not for making friends like other social networking sites though you can add some people. The main purpose is to get updates for a particular group or friend, share information which you friend can reweet to people in his list..I hope you find the information useful..Happy myloting. ;)

I do have a twitter account, and really like the idea of twitter. Most of my friends on there are people that I dont actually know, however, and I mainly use it to keep track of my favourite celebrities and see what they are up to. I do think it is aimed at a younger audience and I agree that it isnt very user friendly at all, it took me a while to understand what the point of it was.

At first I just couldn't see the point of Twitter, but the more I use it, the more I like it. This past month, I have been using it to promote my writing on Gather (ie, to get page views for my article), and I have to say, it has really worked. Now that I am on there more, promoting my own work, I find that I also spend more time looking at the things posted by other Tweeters. I have linked to other people writing about food and drink, major newspapers, art museums (I love art), and book sites. Now that all the links (or the majority anyway) are for sites that I would normally visit, and I am finding more people with the same tastes, I really do use it and like Twitter more! It took quite awhile for me to be convinced, but I finally see its value!

Hi Jlamela, I dont have twitter account and all my friends do not have Twitter account as well. I think Twitter is popular in some regions, and with certain age group. Certainly not popular with working adults of my age group in my country. As least I can find some people with Facebook or blogs among my contact.

Just like me, I have an account on twitter but I've not really used the site because I don't understand it at all. I've tried to understand it and I hear people talking about twitter favorably all the time, but I've just never really been able to grasp it. I guess all in all it is okay though because I have facebook and I use that all the time. I don't really think that I need to have multiple social networking websites going on at the same time.

most of my friends in real life are not into twitter. i still use it though for fun, share ideas with other and it can actually be used to earn money. I already earned few dollars from it.
