Hi mylotters. Just a quick question here to get you thinking about the one you love. What is the most romantic gesture you have shown to the one you love? Was it worth it?

Sometimes i'm a romantic. I think the sweetest thing i've done was composed a song just for us. It was worth it cuz she loved it and she shared it with her friends and her friends also loved it. I felt like a famous musician. :)

I had a pad of post it notes that were heart shaped. I wrote on each one "I Love You" and snuck into my boy friends house while he was out and put them everywhere. He is still finding them. He loved all the notes...one day when I find some more heart post it notes I'll do it again. Also for Easter I did an Easter egg hunt for him. I put Easter candy and gifts everywhere in his house at two a.m. while he was sleeping. I was so worried that he would wake up...his floor squeaks and at night when everything is quiet it sounds like a train's breaks! He didn't wake up while I was there and that morning he found Easter stuff everywhere, including on the floor (He came down and told me that the Easter Bunny pooped on his floor! ) It took him three days to find everything!

What a fabulous idea. I am sure the one you love knows how great your heart is. Thank you for responding and keep up the good works in the name of romance.

hi sender 621 I think the most romantic gesture I ever showed my husband was to buy him a crystal candle holder and a wooden candle.' well let me explain as this turned really silly. this was a christmas gift as I knew he loved candles and crystal too. so he opened the package and really appreciated the gift.of course he wanted to light the candle and see how it made the crystal gleam. only one problem the candle would not take off, then we found out it was a wooden candle made to look like a real candle blue with gilt paint on the sides and a wick but it did not burn. we laughed about that for years, and my husband went around saying its better to light one wooden candle than to curse the darkness. so it did fizzle a little but he claimed he loved my candle and candle holder.lol lol lol.

hi sender yes its the little things like we had a special word between us that meant lets getout of here,I left the blipit in our car, honey. that meant lets say our goodbyes to the host and get out of here. People would ask my husband what was a blipit and he would just laugh and say its a souvenir from my war years. so they never knew it only meant lets scram.I often used to wait for someone to ask him to show them the souvenir but it did not come up.

Such memories are cherished in the moments of the past. Sometimes the little things we do are remembered the most.

Hey sender! I honestly don't really know! I guess just making him a really nice dinner of the things that he likes to eat! He doesn't exactly make me want to make any romantic gestures towards him because we are having some difficulties in our relationship! I buy him little things like teddy bears and he just doesn't seem to care so I have just give up trying to be romantic and that is truly sad!

Don't give up. it sounds like you really love him. Be patient with his love and it will come your way.
