Finally, after two years of work to improve my life style to a healthly condition, I finally got science to show that it is working. My eyes have improved a lot, in fact for my age I have very healthy eyes. I can't tell you how much this means to me after all my effort. For a long time I felt that if anything was happening it was just slowing down the old age. But not to have proof that things have been working is such a great boost to keep trying.

Congratulations!! Its great when we can do something and see the results. But, you're such a tease to tell us this and not say what you did so we can do the same? C'mon, share with us!!

How nice, you do not just believe things are getting better, You have scientific proof. That must have made your day.

Eat raw fruit and vegatables, the dark green leafy ones, like chard and kale. 8 to 9 servings a day. No more than 3 ozs of meat or fish. Whole grains only. Nuts and seeds make this all taste better.

What kind of things have you been doing to see improvement? I am always up for some suggestions to stay healthy or to improve it.

OK, Dawn's stoopid question of the day, how do you improve your eyes?

Healthy eyes, that means you don't use spectacles. I also don't want to be old. I always feel I'm younger than my age. My friends also say this. How can I maintain good health ?

Congratulations Savypat! Your hard work pays. keep it up! I'm not as lucky as you are right now. But I'm still working on it. I know it will pay off too one day if I continue to believe and consistently do it. I'm trying hard to beat the knee pain from a worn out cartilage. I've been taking glucosamine and chondroitin, watch my diet and exercise appropriately so as not to hurt them.

Was there a particular disorder you were dealing with? Do you attribute your improvement to diet or supplements or some other thing we do not know about. I will be interested to know.

With a little know-how, a healthy lifestyle is not a difficult goal to achieve. The basics are a positive frame of mind, good rest, positive interaction, emotional stability, exercises, proper diet. You have proven that with a strong will, you are able to see success in the end. A small investment of time, energy and pure feelings in cooking and eating, will translate into a lifetime of healthy living.

That’s good news! It is good to see positive results when you’ve been working on self improvement; it can motivate you to keep on going. Were you having problems with your eyes? I am short sighted myself and I wear glasses or contact lenses unless I’m reading or writing then I have to wear neither or I won’t be able to see! Most people need glasses to read, not me; I need to take them off!
