I tried the Mylot search bar and they think I'm cheating... what???

I didn't know that we could actually earn while we're using the Mylot Search Bar until I tried searching through it to see if it actually could have the same capability as google. After a several searching (I don't know how many) there was a pop up screen stating I earns some cents. I thought it was great so opted to use the Mylot Search Bar when searching for something online instead of google. But then after several searches more, there was a prompt saying that they think there's a possible attempt to cheat and said that I could try again later.
I mean, when you do research, you don't just input one statement and be enough with it, right? There will be similar searches to find what we're looking for. It's weird that Mylot attempts to be in line with other search engines if they would stop you from doing searches because of something they feel is 'cheating'. The worst part is I haven't reached like 100 searches yet, it was just a few things.
Anyway, what's your point on this one? I think they should put up a sign containing how many 'searches' more you could do for the duration. But still, I opt to search through Google instead - at least they're welcoming people to search.

yeah i try to make a search with different tags and keyword to maximized my search . But i always stop when i had a few cents. then i try it to come back again in the next day ( maybe that is the limitation, but i do knot know for sure). now i don't use it anymore because every time i search i always being sign out even i had clean my cookies and start my browser. :(

I keep forgetting to try the search here! It sounds like once you've made a penny or whatever on it, you have to wait until the next day? If it doesn't take many searches to get to that point, it might be worth it just to increase our earnings here, but if it takes very many searches for a penny, it certainly wouldn't be worth the trouble.

I haven't really tried counting, I think it varies though, I have opted to use it once in a while and sometimes it just gives out $0.9 while at other times you get about $0.13. I think it's just there to increase earnings, so I just do about it and wait a while till I get the cents then I stop using it for a while.

i guess their are certain rules here in mylot that are different really from other sites; well for one thing this is a discussion page and not a search engine so i think the administrators have this quota only on how many times an average person would search for a particular topic or discussion.
don't feel bad about this; these are just site regulations--anyway it wouldn't hurt to follow them. As for seraching other topics--we can of course use other sites--happy blogging.

the mylot search bar gives you a reward after several searches that you make but it'll be just one per 24 hour interval...
as far as i know
it's not yet very helpful but i think with continued usage it could become a very powerful search engine so keep using it and then when the pop up comes in that you've been rewarded switch to regular search engines or use mylot's search engine minimally.
