Which do you prefer, swim in the beach or swim in the pool? It's summer, and I know some of you have already enjoy swimming. It's so hot here in the Philippines.

None, I'd rather be inside the tub alone. I find it so dirty to swim with other people in the pool or in the beach. The chlorine in the pool is so toxic. Swimming in beach is not safe from any bacteria.

are you allergic on chlorine or something? You're the only person which I've heard or read that doesn't like swimming or hate pools and beaches.. xD

Last month we went to the beach. We met fishermen collecting larvae of milkfish at the shore. That was the time I knew its possible to sell those little creatures whose smallness make it seem that its not worth even a single peso. I also brought home one of the white stones formed by rain and wave action. The breeze is so comforting and we ate mango with bagoong. Summer is the best time for beaches.

definitely beach, but i don't live near one so pool's ok with me. it's more fun to go to the beach because you can do lots of activities (well, depending on the beach where you're going). i especially like snorkeling and i would love to try surfing too.

I prefer the beach to a pool. But the problem with the place where i stay is we are not close to the coast hence there is no beach.I prefer going to a place where there is a beach and spend my holiday. The kids love it probably because there is no beach where i live.I'm a member of a resort and would love to make use of its facility to go to a place where there is a good beach.

Anything natural is good as compare to the artificial one so is the beach. I would pefer beach for sure. I enjoy swiming and have been on beach many times. Whenever we friends get time the first thing comes in mind is beach.

hi dhysanne. i definitely prefer beaches! in the kansai area where i live, it is difficult to find nice beaches but some are so great! i often go to the Obama beach in wakayama. and i went there last Sunday. swiming there is fun, because you can feel nature and swim with fish! i would like to go to the Philippines to enjoy the beautifull beaches someday.

I do not know how to swim but i love being near the beach. Im a natural kind of person and beach seems so much more natural than a pool.

I would much prefer the beach, but it depends on the situation. Depending on what beach. Some beaches around my area are just DIRTY! And people really shouldn't be swimming in it! So, it all depends. But usually - I'd say the beach. In most scenarios anyway.

Outdoors is always fun. So......for me it is a swim in the beach.

I used to prefer the beach over a pool. I enjoyed the waves when they would come in. Now I can't go to the beach, because of the waves. I get knocked over easily, and the waves would knock me over. Plus I need a walker or some kind of assistance to get in the water, and I wouldn't want to take anything in with me. Now I prefer a pool. I still like the beach to lay on, but I don't go in the water.

For me, in this kind of weather, I prefer both. As long as it will help ease the hotness of the weather. I have not yet gone swimming this summer but hopefully by the end of this month our plans will push through.

This very hot summer, I am not in a mood to go outing. My family don't want either maybe because it's too hot. But if given a chance and time to do it, I prefer to swim in the beach. I hope it would be in Boracay or Panglao since these places are clean. Here in Metro Manila, the beaches are in the province like Batangas and the trips are quite long plus the traffic. You'll not get excited anymore if you arrive in the beach.

I prefer the pool since I can't swim and I am very paranoid in drowning. Although of course you can also drown in a pool but I think it's safer than the beach.

i love pool! I have a new discovery, actually and that is the Rockpoint Hotel in Laguna where the pool contains hotspring water - it is fresh and has no chlorine! Its really a good place to stay and spend time to relax, etc. Recently though, i like beaches! I mean, the perfect sunset, the view of the mountain, the sound of the sea... i mean it helps you to relax more, right?! =)

I would love to live on the beach all year round. Even when its winter. If I could, I would love be able to wake up to the sound of the ocean. My second choice would be a pool. I could live with that. My first choice would have to definitely be the ocean. dl

I would rather go to the beach resort than a pool or water park. Especially in our country, the extreme heat is imbearable and going to the beaches or pool is one way of cooling ourselves. Waterparks or pools sometimes are too crowded and you can't enjoy it that much. So I prefer going to the beach, lots of open space and other activities to do :)

since i don't know how to swim, i prefer to go in a pool rather than going in a beach. it is safer to spend the summer time in the pool because aside from the danger brought by the big waves, it is also away from the direct heat of the sun.

It actually depends. If I feel like swimming like real swimming wherein you can feel your arms and legs doing the swimming, I prefer pools but if I want to just enjoy playing with my friends then the best place would be the beach.
