the advent of 2010 election generated a lot of trashed and garbage. i was so happy that the day after the election, my city is so clean. i wasnt able to see any ads and posts in the city plaza whereas before the election, it was like a dumping site for ads.
how about in your city? are there still a lot of ads not removed?

I am happy that I live in the mountains of San Mateo where people always cringe when I mention my location because they think I live very far. But I'm not that far from Manila, actually its just a fifteen minute ride to Marikina. But because candidates have deemed my place as isolated, we did not have the usual trash associated with elections. You can barely see a poster anywhere. Unlike in Quezon City where I am always disappointed with the number of posters plastered everywhere. So I am happy to report that we don't have the usual headache of posters and trash associated with the elections.

I am glad that there is someone that took initiative of cleaning the trash created by elections. In my place, there was not much posters and election paraphernalia that was posted in my place that is why there is not much to clean. I think it was because the local election in my place is very much bias for one candidate that there was no need for posters to be posted anywhere else. Although I have seen the other days that people were starting to clean up those posters that were placed on electric posts and pasted on some walls.

Good for you your politicians have the initiative to take out their trash after the election. I think it doesnt happen usually. MOst politicians just live their mess and just wait for volunteers to take it out. Yesterday, I was walking downtown and I saw 2 soldiers taking out the posted pasted on walls. Tomorrow, I will also be participating in a community service and we are gonna take out the politicians trash, I just wish that they had the initiative to do something about it rather than wait for someone to do it for them.
