You know, life IS like a box of chocolates.

The chocolates with that weird, unidentifiable toothpaste like stuff inside represents the situations you would much rather like to avoid at all costs. The best pieces represent the good times in your life that you wish you had enjoyed to the fullest while they were going on. Dropping chocolate represents the clumsiness of the common human. Trying to eat it, thinking that no one is around to see you do it represents the desperation of the common human. That embarrassment you get when you realize that a handful of people with cell phone cameras saw you eating something off the floor like a pig, represents all the times you got caught doing something that you know you probably shouldn't have done. The picture it's self represents the snapshot of your life. Agree? Disagree? Picking your nose while reading this post? Discuss.

Exactly life is like a box of chocolates which contains a lot of different taste of chocolates~~We always trying to eat this and that chocalate. In this process we will meet sweet cholate or bitter one,and whatever we meet ,we should bravely face to it.That is life, full of different experience which will help you to understand life.

What I really agree is the one that Forrest Gump said. "Life is like a box of chocolates. You will never know what you'll get" Life is full of mysteries. We will never what will happen to us.

Well, I've been through a few strawberry creams lately so now I'm ready for a face full of good quality truffles If it goes on the floor, it goes in the bin as far as I'm concerned so no-one's gonna catch me eating off the floor... does that mean no-one's gonna catch me doing the stuff I shouldn't???

I rather like the analogy myself. Can be interpreted in quite a few ways.

hi cbjones yes forest gump had it about right life is like a box of choclates and the ones with the sickeningly sweet gooey stuff around an artifical cherry are the bad times, the caramels that threaten to pull out a filling in your tooth are the tough times, and your most favorite pieces are the delightful times in you life, the nutty ones are the times when you let out your inner child and act silly and nutty and have a lot of fun. to me dropping a chocolate only means you are really a human being with all ones faults and good points and we can all share a laugh and then be good to the clumsy one. we all drop something at one time or another. all of us.

I can[t help but agree to some extent, though I see a photo or snapshot cementing edivenance of an action weather it is good or bad. Picking up food off the ground, is more a symbol of how far a person can fall. Desperation does seem to make sense here as well, but desperation seems to be more likly for other possible saneros. I mean you would have to have rock bottom in your life to fall that far.

"Dropping chocolates represents the clumsiness..." No that's just a clumsy person dropping chocolates. The chocolates don't represent anything about life here because being dropped isn't a feature of a box of chocolates. Therefore , it is the human representing him/herself I do agree that "the best pieces..." We try to enjoy the best bits of life. I think having crap chocolates and good chocolates together represents the good and bad times of life. You never know when you're gonna get a bad or a good chocolate.
