Uses of internet

Hello rajupaul, What the heck happened to your STAR it turned red? you use to be all time BLUE well, how are yah? i believe man can survive with out internet we are so drawn into it because we got a lot of information. internet started already in the 80's and used by top officials only in the Pentagon US. but they later publicized it for commercial use.

The original use of the internet was for the military so that they would be able to communicate. There is not one specific person that was the inventor of the internet. In fact, there is no one that claims being the individual that invented the internet. I remember living without the internet and in the days that we didn't have internet in our homes it didn't feel like we were missing anything in our lives. However, now that we are used to having internet access in our homes, it does feel like there is something missing in our lives when we are without internet access.

It was very simple, once upon a time. We wrote letters to people far away or drove to visit them. We talked on the telephone, got together for coffee or a meal, had parties at home to get together with our friends. We shopped in stores or by mail order, everything was slower and we had patience--we knew we had to wait for things and we savored the anticipation. The internet has brought us some good things but the internet and technology in general has also persuaded us to sacrifice many of the good things in life--like people, patience, enjoying anticipation, sitting down to play with our children without talking on the phone, etc.

I believe people in the past were far much better than us, we are always running after money but they were always pursuing happiness around them. Technology is not to be blamed because we should know how to preserve our culture although the coming of the new technology.

hi,in early days we depend on phone,radio,tapererder,television,typewriter,fax,cell phones,postoffices.....at that time we felt that how can we live without them....now we are using internet whichis equal to all above devices...so at pesent you can't do anything or atleast within time... we can compare with the word,if there is any more than handicapped.....
