Sometimes there are days that seem so bad that it makes you feel miserable yet there are other days that seem to make you feel really happy to be alive no matter what is going on in your life. They do say make the most of your life as you are along time dead.I maybe in pain but i have had an excellent day aswell as a good night and that is all thanks to some good friends of mine.

oh yes its important to make the best out of every bad situation, enjoy life and not worry so much over problems. One can find solutions for all if only takes the time to relax and try and see things calmly.

OMG life sure is short. I must be so grateful to have mine near me. Life does also work out in some strange ways. I am sorry for your loss, and glad you see things in a different way. That is amazing he knew that.

I have learned that to just let the little things go and look for things that will make life more enjoyable. Having a son with multiple handicaps and dealing with the things that go along with it is enough and the little things do not matter. We strive to find things to make our family closer and enjoyable.

Hi JJ, A truer word never said, I try to be happy every day and when I see someone always give them a smile or say hello hoping that just that little act will help brighten up their day. Obviously though tere are days when I feel really down and worried about all sorts of things-those are the times that I should be looking at the brighter side of the situation but always fail to-LoLo

Life is too short…and let’s not make it shorter by miseries and worries. We always have the choice to be happy and make life worthy. So, let’s all be happy, enjoy life against the odds and complexities. It’s always good to look at the positive and brighter side of every fall and trials that come our way and rejoice for any little victories. It's good to know that you had an excellent day friend. Ok goodnight!

Sorrow and happiness are like two sides of coin and they will occur in everyones life time to time. None of these are permanent so enjoy both. Happiness is not permanent and sorrow is again not going to last for ever. Night and day, day and night thats a circle. Saorrow and happiness are very similar but the time is not fixed for thes things. Enjoy every moment of life.

If we design life according to your plan. Then there will be no worries for being misery. But we cannot control the future, we can still experience misery.

I am so glad you had a good day and night. I know you have a lot of health difficulties. You cannot always choose what happens to you, but you can choose how you react to it.

The quote is really true, life is too short. You never know. You are given a life from God you must treasure it. while you still have a chance choose happiness and be kind to every one you meet. You will be treasured in their hearts when your gone if you do that. Wish all the best in life, make your dreams come true. do what you have to do now as time is gold and time is never right to be wasted. Not all people are following this one, like me when I am sad I want to die, I never think that not all have the gift of life. some living have disease or illness, compare to me , very healthy. this is an eye opener to me.

yup yup..life is too short to waste our time sulking..we have to make the most out of our life everyday..we should always feel happy and we should always make everyone else around us feel happy too even if we are in a deep emotional pain..so since life is so short, we have to do the things that we haven't done yet and treat all the pain on the way as a part of that experience..

jugsjugs, Well, here's the thing - though life is too short to be miserable but we cannot not be miserable or we will never learn to be tender or to be able to love or to be able to cherish. So, I just find these words ever so apt for this paradox here and I hope that it will be an encouragement for you when times do not seem to go your way. “I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.” - Mother Theresa.

Hi jugsjugs, I'm happy that you've had an excellent day and wish you many more of the same. Life is what we make it, no matter the situation we find ourselves in at the moment. Being in pain has to be hard to deal with and only a few handle it well. The fact that you have some excellent days show that you are one of them. Blessings.

How true it is that life is to short to be miserable. I try to make the best of it each and everyday. I am in good health, I think, as I don't hardly ever get sick. The only thing right now, is that my eyesight isn't all that great anymore, as I have cataracts, and it makes it hard to see sometimes. I am trying to reverse them without surgey, so I will see after awhile if it really worked. Right now, getting the surgery is unaffordable, so I just can't see myself paying $3000. That to me is insane, and I am not old enough to get medicare, as I have a few years yet, and by that time if I don't treat them, then I will be blind and I don't want that to happen. I really haven't noticed a significant difference yet, but a slight one. I just hope that the eye drops do reverse them, so I won't have to try to come up with the money to get them operated on. other than that, things aren't going to bad, and and I thank God everyday for that. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Hi Jugs, Actually life is way too long to be spent miserably or at least it will feel that way if you are miserable. I agree that some days are just oh...wish-I-never-got-out-of-bed days. Still nothing stays the same for long and its worth the effort to try to look at the positive and pull out of a bad funk. I hate the feeling of being down so much that I do almost anything to pull myself up out of it. Some people have a really hard time being able to do that and i find it hard to understand but it is sad.

yes. God gave us only 1 life to live so we should make the best out of it. it's normal for life to have problems but God doesn't give us problems we can't solve. also, he let us meet great people who would help us in times of our need. and we should also treasure these people for they are life's gifts. :)

Really life is to short to just worry. Difficulties in life exists to make our lives more exciting ride :) 'coz without it, our life will be boring. It is just the matter of how you look to ones life. As what my favorite quote says by Norman Vincent Peale "The person who sends out positive thoughts activates the world around him positively and draws back to himself positive results" We must always be positive! If we can't solve our current problems then move forward. Give more attention to the ones you could solve first. Don't think too much of the future because what is more important is the present. :)

Yes! Let's live life to the fullest and stay positive. Being miserable translates to being stressed, and being stressed is the root of all health problems! So if we want to live long then we always should stay happy! Life is like a wheel, sometimes you're up, sometimes you're down. For a woman like me I'm usually down when I have PMS (hehe), but I'm usually in good mood. Right now that I'm back in the city (which I hate), back to being an employee (the cause of all stress), I'm sure my happy days will become limited. *sigh Anyway, the most important is that we're alive, and that's enough reason to celebrate. Smile and be happy jugsjugs!
