How many movies have you seen?

Wow! I couldn't being to count the number of movies I have seen. Loads in the cinemas as I used to go every week from being a young kid. And now I much have at least 150 on DVD and video that I have bought over the years. I rarely go to the cinema now because if I see a movie that looks good, I can buy it usually on line, and then sell it on ebay or somewhere similar if I don't want to keep it. I guess because I am so old () I have seen so many! _Derek

How did you count it? In my 29 years of existence I don’t remember how may movies I had seen. I love comedy and chick flicks movies and of course no matter what genra, if my favorite celebrity is starring in the film I definitely watch. Like movies of Sandra Bullock and Kate Hudson.

Hi Ola, You amazed me for counting all the movies that you'd watched for your entire life. Well, I don't know how many movies i did watch since i started watching movies..be it on television, movie house and vcd. Maybe, starting this coming weekend i will document all the movies that i am going to watch.

It is a topic very difficult to answer, if we count the movies that we saw for TV, cinema, dvd, video cassette player and Internet, I do not have the minor idea, that have been a heap.

A lot!!!Lol. Don't think I can even count the number of movies i've seen. Am sure you've probably seen a lot more than 230 movies.

Hi olasunkanmie, I have been falling in love with all kinds of movie since my senior primary school days. There were a few cinemas very near to our house. We took tweenty minutes or so to reach the nearest one on foot. I saved part of my school pocket money and purchased ticket to watch my favorite film weekly. Amony all I loved to watch both the comidy as well as scary ghost movies I seldom watched movie after busy with my colleage. After gradution I started watching movie frequently again. I watched video movies most of the time after giving birth to my kid. Nowadays my son is a mature adult and work in outsttion. He would pass movie VCD to me when he is back to hometown monthly. I could hardly know how many movies I have watched actualy... Happy posting

I have lost count. I have many , many films on VHS and DVD. I have been watching movies since 1975!

hi olasunkanmie, i have seen several Telugu(our mother Tongue)India,Hindi and English movies in my school and college days,after marriage also i have several Telugu movies,but for the last 10 years i am not regularly visiting movies,now i am visiting movies once in bluemoon,if possible when i am out of town i try to visit the movie,have a nice day

My math will not work in this case:) I did not count the number but sure that it should be near to 300 or more. I cannot count exact numbers, it would not be possible. Good to know that you keep track of the number of movies you watch.

Well i don't know how many movie i have watched yet total. But i watched so many movies in my life. I think it could be more then 500 movie. And different countries movie. I love to watch movie.

I love movies too. And I think that I would have seen almost 250 movies. I started watching movies only 5 years before So I watched all these 250 movies in 5 years.

I have no idea how many films I have seen in my life, but definitely hundreds!! I have been counting the films I have seen this year though and so far in 2010, I have watched 58 films, mainly on DVD. I have watched lots of old horror films, quite a few James Bond films, Hammer Horror films, etc. - various sorts.

wow, that is amazing as you can count every movie you watched!i love to watch movie and have watched a lot of them but i don't know the exact number of them.perhaps hundred of movies.it's countless.still keep watching them.:)

I wouldn't have a clue how many I have watched in my life time but since I turned 18 nearly 20 years ago there has rarely been a day where I've not watched at least one movie often more. I do know so far this year I have watched and written reviews of over 200 movies and so the chaces are that will pass 500 by the end of the year.

I figured out a good chunk of movies that I've seen, by trying to remember every movie that I had seen, and rating it on IMDb. Of course, I know that there must still be loads of movies missing, that I just didn't think of, or thought that I must have already rated it, but for right now, it's at around 950 movies. Can't wait to hit 1000.

That's a simple but interesting question I didn't count but i have around 400 movies on pc and i watched many more before i started downloading so the number must be pretty high. My guess just for fun would be say 4126

Here is a discussion made for me! Well, I am a big cinemaniac and for long time I've wanted to list my movies like a catalog and luckily I found the best software for this - Ant Movie catalog! It's very useful because you can list your movies and when you add a movie to the catalog it automatically fills in information about the movie like Title, actors, plot, producers, directors, poster and such stuff from IMDB. Of course you can write it down by yourself but this way is much easier. I write on my own only the comment about the film and the mark (It allows you to choose between 1 to 10). You can also arrange the movies in order that you like - I prefer to put numbers before the titles and to put the movies in alphabetical order. It's very comfortable and easy. And on the question about the number - I started my catalog two years ago and included all the movies that I can remember and watched (of course IMDB helped me a lot) and I'm still adding more and more every day. So far the number is a little over 1600 movies which believe me it's not little! On the other side it's not that good watching so many movies because lately I can hardly find what to watch, but the movie industry manage to make enough for now somehow =) Have a nice day ;)

I don't really know the exact number of movies I have seen but it was my favorite past time. I really enjoy watching movies especially war and action movies with my family.
