I'm writing this message out as a big thanks to a bunch of people on this board, for placing your ideas and concepts on my post of "God isn't Real". I always enjoy a good debate, and it's a way for people to get together and share their ideas. I think that all of us learned some great new bits of information about eachother and the world, and I'm really happy that w... | | Christoph56 started a new discussion called This is for Moms, of all species! in life. 2 weeks ago Back in 2011, my Mom was the happiest gal in the world in April, when she found a Momma duck in her back yard, raising a big group of eggs on a little hole that Momma duck had dug into the ground. My Mom was so excited about it, and she was telling everyone, having friends over to see it, and she was posting on the internet about it... she was just ecstatic.
For myself, I thought it sounded ... | | Christoph56 started a new discussion called Mission Impossible 4 : Ghost Protocall in watching movies. 4 hours ago I just finished watching this movie a couple hours ago. After MI:3 a bunch of years ago, I didn't think Mission Impossible would be any good. I mean, #3 wasn't that great, it was kinda boring, slow... nothing like the other movies...
But, #4 brings it back to life. It has great action scenes, great characters, some good laughs, and it really bursts the top off of everything... when they had ... | | Christoph56 responded to a discussion called Its Evolution... baby !!! in life. 3 weeks ago Some of the best pieces of direct evidence for evolution has been done with bacteria. The thing is, most animals have a new generation, at the fastest, once a year, in where bacteria go through many generations in a single day, so it's easier to get to a point where mutation occurs.
But there was this one extra big study, back in 2008. It was with E.coli, and they had 12 different groups th... | | Christoph56 responded to a discussion called How Much Should You Know About A Person Before A Relationship? in love. 20 hours ago Really, it's impossible to know someone, completely, because we all go through life at the same rate, so you can't tell someone, everything. If you meet someone when you're 20, then you have 20 years of experiences, and that would take 20 years to tell, but by that time, you'd have another 20 years of experience!
If a person is more shy, then that could just mean that they're shy, rather the... | | Christoph56 responded to a discussion called Do you really believe we came from apes? in human. 4 hours ago We did not descend from apes... humans and apes have a common ancestor... and that ancestor wasn't around thousands of years ago, that common ancestor was around millions of years ago... Thousands of Thousands years ago... it also didn't take several years to change, that took millions of years, as well. Actually, extremely few of the kinds of animals that were alive back when humans and apes s... | | Christoph56 commented in a discussion called God isn't Real in religion. 3 weeks ago "How do people see that what comes out from the miscarriage is a clot of congealed blood amongst a lot of other bloody substances, without a microscope?"
That's my point, what the Qur'an says is a take on what is happening in early pregnancy, that it's just the sperm getting in contact with the ova (that the Qur'an is just calling congealed blood, an understandable error without a microscope... | | Christoph56 commented in a discussion called God isn't Real in religion. 3 weeks ago Does it sound crazy, that the idea of going to hell and burning for eternity, is worse for you, then the idea that life is over when you die? Either way, dying is a scary thing, but I think it is far better for your own sanity if you think that it is like a eternal dreamless sleep, then if you think you'll go through eternal pain and suffering.
Therefore, I think that not being scared of bur... | | Christoph56 commented in a discussion called A big thanks to everyone! in religion. 3 weeks ago I was actually thinking about putting you on a "Gold List" since you were near the top in the frequency of posts... buttttt, I'm keeping everyone equal :)
Hope to be seeing you in bunches on these boards! | | Christoph56 commented in a discussion called Do you really believe we came from apes? in human. 3 hours ago The best place to go is the Natural History Museum in the UK, where it shows actual fossils from about 8 main variations of humans, going back millions of years...
Of course, if you can't quite go to the UK, then you can always check out their website, and take a peak at what they have;
