Out here in Canada, cigarettes are already covered up in stores, often by curtains, or they're kept inside drawers so that people can't see them. I can't say its made any difference with the number of people smoking out on the street (which, we also have a law for, no smoking within 6 meters of a doorway or open window.) But it does push down the chances of children being able to get cigarettes...

I'd be jumping even faster if someone said that to me... and for someone that believed strongly in Jesus, they'd feel like once they hit the ground, they'd get to meet Jesus! That sounds like the single worst thing to say to someone when they want to jump off a building.
