Romantic Rainy Days are Here at Last

Hooray! Pagasa said that El Nino has finally ended. That means no more airconditioning most of the night. It kills my budget having to pay our electricity for March and April more than twice our usual consumption. It also means, people will be more relaxed and chill as the weather is cooler. I just noticed that during the summertime, more people are not in the mood and are hot-headed because of the hot weather. Now, weather is a bed weather. I feel like, I want to lay on my bed and sleep the whole day. I am so excited with the rainy days. I always associate it with my love one, cuddling together sipping hot choco or coffee. Welcome Rain!

Yeah hot summer is out already and we now will be bracing for rains, flood and traffic because of heavy downpour. I think for those that commute on a day to day basis this is just another set of problems we may encounter on the road. For those that are house bound this may be a blessing for them to minimized cost of electricity. I just hope the rains that would come in would not be more than that what Ondoy has brought in our land.

I agree with you 100% rsa101. Let us all pray that "Ondoy storm" will not happen again in our country. We were caught off guard that time. I hope now, we learn from it already. Pray too, that the new government will do something about it.

Yes I guess the new government will have to adjust to the many problems that we are encountering in terms of weather and other calamities that may come under them. We all are hoping that they can stand by what they promised us all.

Oh my.. while its really good tohear that we're going to have cooler days and nights, but its also a wonder if the rain would get to heavy and cause floods and storms. THe weather has just gone out of control nowadays.. its hard to predict, and i dont think Phils is still on a dry and wet season as scheduled. hhmmm...climate change has taken its toll.

You know what RARsyndrome? I have this weird thought that in time, Philippines will no longer have wet and dry season only. Climate change may bring snow in the Philippines. What do you think huh?

I love the current weather... even if it rains the whole day... it is like a welcome breather from the scorching heat we experienced during the summer time... we don't turn on the AC anymore... so i expect our electricity bill to go down by 50%... i don't sweat a lot anymore... and now i can finally wear those clothes that have sleaves... I love it when it rains... as long as it is not the Ondoy type of rain...

Yes, the rain and the cool weather seem to affect my mood. Now I am more relaxed and chill. Unlike when it was summer, I seem be always irritated with little things. Probably it was the heat noh?

It rains in the morning or night but during the day it is still very hot. Our electric consumption is too much already since my daughter use the aircon much often this summer.

That was my dilemma also dorisday, that is why I hated this summer due to the high cost of electricity. Yes, same with me, my two-year old son, can't sleep comfortably with out the aircon. If it is only me, I can bear the heat. But with my son, I will just bear the cost of electricity rather than see him soaking wet with sweat.

The El Nino days were soon be over and I am one of the person who really welcomes rainy days. The last few months were so hot and humid in weather that i really wish the rainy season would come fast. There's also the frequent power shortage that resulted to black out everyday and I don't like that at all. Now the rain is pouring down and i can feel the cold wind caressing my skin and that really feels like heaven. Yes...when it's raining during night I like to sleep soundly and peacefully with my blankets and pillows.

That's what I like also. Sleeping soundly at night with pillows and blankets, cuddling close to my husband. I only hope the raindrops would not be excessive as to cause flooding in the low areas of the Metro.

I feel relieved for my mother because our bill has gone to to five thousand, since the weather's been so hot. I can't wait to be stuck at bed, too.

well no totally hoooray! it seems that even a small poring of rain can create a huge flood and landslide so what will happen if this will continue I really don't want to see it. I hope our government act about this immediately There's a lot of people who are now suffering because of this little rain i hope it will not continue and become balance with sunny days. Sorry but I hope you understand why I said this yse you can enjoy the rainy days but feel do care a little for the less-fortunate people who suffer for because of this rains.

Yes I know that. One of my colleagues suffered from Ondoy and I hated that. I just hated so much the heat that I am excited about the rain.

oh yeah! rainy days are coming! When last months must bring and must wear are sun glasses, cap or umbrella, short sleeves, shorts and anything that will make you feel comfortable for a hot weather, and you cannot stay in a place without the electric fan on or the air conditioned open, or just bring a fan to prevent those sweats from coming out, now that it is June, perhaps you need only to bring with you umbrella and wear your super long sleeves! Well well, no big sunglasses please. You'd probably look like a wet bee on the street if you do that.Other than these, just be prepared with the rainy season, you'd be enjoying now the best moments in your life. Huurrraaayy!
