Are you superstitious?

If I was asked this question I must admit I would say No I am not superstitious. But ... I must admit that I always salute a Magpie (a black and white bird) for luck, never look at a new moon firstly through glass and if I find a penny on the floor I always say Find a penny, pick it up all the day you will have good luck. Pass this penny to a friend and your luck will never end! I have given away a fortune this way LOL But no I am not superstitious lol What about you?

There are not many things I am superstitious about. I don't like it when black cat runs across the road in front of me when I am driving, and if one does, I quickly draw an "X" on my windshield with my finger, however, I was driving through southern Georgia a few months ago, and a black panther ran across the road in front of me while I was driving through a rural area, and I thought that was pretty cool. There aren't many black panthers in that part of the country, and it is RARE that you see one, especially in broad daylight that way, so it didn't really bother me. There is also one other thing that I am superstitious about. This actually involves knives. It is bad luck to close a pocket knife that someone else opens. The person who opens the knife has to close it when they are done using it...LOL Oh...I almost forgot one...It is also bad luck to rock an empty rocking chair. You are not supposed to rock a rocking chair that no one is sitting in. What is really spooky, though, is to see an empty rocking chair rocking with no one standing near it. I have experienced this, and it supposedly means that there is a ghost or spirit causing it to rock...

No, I'm not superstitious. When I was 12 an old aunt told me never to sleep in the light of the full moon or it would drive me mad. Naturally, the next full moon saw me napping in the back yard where its rays could reach me for as long as possible. Some people would argue that she was right! I do pick up pennies but I put them in a change keeper in my car along with all the nickels, dimes and quarters that I've found in parking lots. I can't really think of any superstition that I believe in.
