I received a tweet from @ANCALERTS that PhilVolcs heightened the alert level in Taal Volcano to level 2 and they also declared that Taal Volcano is now a permanent Danger Zone. Meaning, permanent settlers are now allowed anymore. What do you think about this news? I actually thought that Taal was a dormant volcano. It was not only until now that I found out that Taal lake is sort of active. You can find an article from PhilVolcs here: http://www.phivolcs.dost.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=372&Itemid=26&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

That is very alarming news. Taal is an active volcano and I think last century it erupted in the early 1900s I think. I am hoping that it would not be destructive as we do not need another calamity to happen in our place. One thing about that is it is near Metro Manila and if eruption happen then Manila is included to be affected by it for sure.

This is alarming news indeed. Tagaytay might be in danger if the alert level would continue to elevate. I just hope that volcano would simmer down because Tagaytay is a very special place to me. We actually have plans in going back there this year.
