I wrote an article, How to increase sperm count, yesterday. The automated editor in Triond rejected the article, stating the reason as: "We regret to inform you that your content item, "How to Increase Sperm Count", has been declined for publication for the following reason: Your submission contains inappropriate content that we cannot publish. The content you have submitted does not conform to our editorial guidelines. Your content must not contain any derogatory, offensive, unlawful, harmful, threatening, vulgar, profane, abusive, harassing, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, or tortuous material." My article focus on the medical aspect, such as zinc deficiency, effects of smoking and excessive alcoholic consumption. It has nothing vulgar in it. I use the Help Center to seek advice, since it is a legitimate article with no link to offensive sites and no promotion of any product. Triond staff reviews and publishes the article within a few hours. I receive a polite email notification: " Your article has now been published. Thanks for your patience!" I guess it is good for all Triond writers to check out the Help Center regularly. I am very impressed with the service attitude.

Hi Scheng! Glad to hear there are people at Triond. I think they use a computer program and as soon as it picks up the word s e x your article is kicked out. It was good thinking to contact them. I am sure you are not the first person that happened to. Glad you got your article published.

Hi Mommaj, Triond has seven employees manning the Help Centre. I think if I write an article about crazy cavewoman, I would be banned forever for messing up the computer system. Where have you been? Haven't seen you around for such a long time. Are you in South Africa now? Please behave yourself, dont mess up the World Cup by hiding all those ghosts inside that little ball. I have asked Art to hunt for you and chain you back home. Hopefully she can find you before you mess up the World Cup.

Hi Mommaj, there is no minimum word count or anything in Triond. No need to worry about writing in magazine style or whatever. It does not even require good command of English. Just remember to avoid using "" in your content. The stupid system flags it as an error. i suggest you add in an Author's profile at the end of the article, and link it to some of your articles. Eg, "Mommaj is a crazy cavewoman, read what she has written in xxx", hyperlink it to the article you want to promote.

I think that's a good idea. Break up your blog articles into smaller segments (before you post them to your blog), then link to the blog. Win-win. Thanks for the email pointing me to this enlightening article. Otherwise who knows how long I would have been stuck in South Africa looking for MommaJ? See above.

Triond may be a good place for me to summarize my blog posts about the Spain trip into smaller articles then. Since there is no minimum word count it might also be a good place for quick articles. I will have to make time to visit your Triond pages.

Triond may have to wait a few weeks. I want to improve AC clout level and I now have Examiner and am waiting to hear from Gather Socialwrite. The good news is Helium's passive income is up enough that I could neglect it a little to build up the other sites.

That's very nice to hear about Triond's Help Center. Fortunately for me, I haven't experienced my article being declined or being send to further review to for publication. With your experience, it just shows how strong Triond is customer service wise and its incentives is the best. I have been there for a couple of years and it is getting better and better. No problems at all. Kudos to Triond. Best of luck to us.

That is really good to hear. Not only do they quickly respond to queries and problems, they also do pay on time and as long as you abide by the guidelines, there won't be a problem for you to earn. Even if I haven't written an article for over a year, I am still earning an amount monthly from my old articles. Triond is really a very good site. Let's all keep earning. Kudos

Hi MeemingNEW, Triond is really good at customer service. I think the seven employees work round the clock to help newbies and experienced writers. I am rather surprised to see that matter resolves so quickly even though it is a Sunday. Fortunately I take the action to contact them instead of just keeping quiet.

Hi Sheng, Thanks to Canellita for informing me about your discussion. CONGRATULATIONS! better that you checked it out. so what happened now to the first one who denied your article? i think if ever i will one of their contributor writers most of my articles will be trashed hehehehehe as i am so comfortable discussing things related to reproductive health and sexuality education though yours never mentioned anything profane. i really don't get it why it was rejected. anyway...it's now on and i hope i will have a copy of your article to read. thanks!

I think the reason for the high page views is all those couples trying to have children. Fertility treatment by doctors in this country is very expensive...thousands of dollars.

Hi Art, you have a point here. I think those who want to read about fertilty must be city folks. Hard to imagine those in the rural area having problem producing kids. Maybe we can get Mommaj to write about producing kids and keeping hungry ghosts happy. She seems to have all sort of creatures in her cave.

That is quite great. However, I'm not so pleased with triond's page views rates. You can publish it at Helium and Associated content if you want to eke out more residual earnings from it. Also rewriting the Article for Factoidz can bring you more earnings. Funny. I think they have an automated word checker, much the same here at mylot for seiving offensive words. Since these programs can't read the context it's used for you might encounter problems like that.

I understand your point about nonexclusive rights with Triond, but do you have to publish your article there first? Can I take my Helium articles and re-post them to Triond as they are?
• Philippines
28 Jun 10
2anythingart Nope you can't. It has to be the other way around. Triond first and repost them to Helium. Although I find that the effort of creating an original content has more rewards at Factoidz. Better rates and a very active community. In fact, in terms of views Factoidz is better than HElium. Although Helium gives writers more earning opportunities than Factoidz. Factoidz+HElium. Triond is better for creative titles since they don't have a minimum word count limit. Check out my profile there. I'm just starting out at everything though so I'm no expert.

re: Triond, sounds a bit like Associated Content. I know MommaJ and some others will post there first to get the upfront and then republish to Helium. I will definitely have to give Triond a try in the not-so-distant future.

I am glad to hear positive comments about Triond. I just sign up a couple of days ago and have been wondering what kind of site reputation it had. I will have to get in gear and post some content on Triond soon. Thank you for letting us know about their help center.

Triond is really a very good writing site. They give you a chance to revise your article to make it publish worthy. I also like the fact that they send payments to members once they reach the $1 minimum amount every month. Triond is also a very good platform to create a reputation in writing. Reading your story makes me even like Triond much more. It's good to hear that they are fair when it comes to publishing articles. It's nice to know that the site has friendly and accomodating moderators.

Hello, Scheng. That's great that common sense prevailed. I don't bother with Triond now, because they want original content, which you can only publish to another site after publication there. I once used one sentence from a response I made to a discussion here in a Triond article, and it was flagged as plagiarism, even though it was my sentence! I mean, how can you plagiarise yourself? I complained, but the article wasn't published - they probably thought I didn't write enough for them to bother with me. Their page views are rubbish as well - I earn far more on Helium. I'm disgusted with AC as well. As you say, Helium hasn't stopped paying international writers, so why should they?

I think I really need to try Helium. Is it hard to get accepted as a writer there? Or is it basically like Triond and Bukisa that you just join and they take a look at your articles to decide?

Yes, I also like their service very much, it is really what separates them from Bukisa and other similar sites. They are very fast too, which I love!

wow that is so awesome...uhm.maybe i will try this site....Well in your topic i think you are just sharing your points of view in medical aspects there is nothing wrong with that and i do agree that having zinc diffeciency can lower the sperm count i can attest to that one coz before i was working in a laboratory especializing artificial insemination of course i have to deal with this sperm counting..And i am in medical field.

Hi Dreamkeeper, I think you have more material to write, since you are working in a laboratory. Sometimes those technical articles with all the jargons get a lot more views than article of common interest. I think you can try out Triond and write a couple of articles on health niche.

It's good to know that you are satisfied with the customer service at Triond. I read a couple of your articles (I write under a different name there) and you are an excellent writer. I will read more as I have time. And I learned so much from reading the different interchanges here. Thanks!

Hi Formidexo, I like the way Triond management handles matter. For example, in this case where overpayment of page views occur due to the system error, they decided to let it be. The money comes out of Triond pocket. I think that is the right way to do things. The few unsatisfactory things about Triond is the lack of human moderation for the articles. Some spun articles managed to get published. I think Triond can do something about it.
