Kids say "crazy" things

Mom told me that when I was 3 years old I went to my grandparents
Grandma asked me if Mom and Dad get along well.
I said a big lie : "NO"
Then I explained how father and mother always quarrel
Grandma was impressed,went to my parents(300km),spent a few days.
My parents believed that she is sick and does not want to say.
Then the grandmother acknowledged that came with the role of "detective"
Since then my grandmother, never asked me anything:))
You or your children have made such "heroic deeds"?

My daughter once announced at playgroup that the family was moving to Germany. Nobody knows where the idea came from (and she doesn't remember). Children come up with all sorts of stories which are complete imagination and are usually either to 'create an effect' or simply 'to see what happens'.
Drama, fiction and so on are 'regularised' and compartmentalised by adults as 'an enjoyable novel/film' or whatever but children don't have the same boundaries between imagination and reality as adults.

Hi owl wings: that's a nice story. I remember that when I was a kid I once say that I will leave my home because I don't like to obey the rules. The idea came from Rugrats. In the chapter where Angelica decide to leave her house. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

hi cip,
that is common in Indian families,saying the things to the grand children by grand parents,and children also will tell about their mother and father behavior with their grand children,the wife and husband quarrels is common in the families,when i am very young my father and mother always quarrel,but i have not report this to my grand mother,have a nice day

hi cip oh my g. I havent laughed like this all day thanks for
cheering up my day. I ran off one day just to see the family
that lived in the silo. I was not really running away and I
'was only five. I took my dog and got out in the middle of the'
farmer's field. I saw this big thing I thought was a bull. so'
there I am screaming at the top of my lungs and my dog barking.
So the farmer heard all the noise and rescued me from the old
milk cow and took me to his house. I asked,"But the kids all saidyou lived in a grain silo" He laughed til he cried and assured me
the kids had been pulling my leg.So the farmer's wife fed me cookies
and milk and than the farmer took me home to my own farm and my mom who was worried sick. I was so angry at her when she laughed cause I
said I just wanted to see the family that lived in a grain silo.

Hi cip: You are right. Sometimes kids say crazy things. By the way, nice video this really makes me laugh. I don't remember a story, but once my teacher told me that a friend's boy say to his parents that he (he was his teacher) hit him. And my teacher has only tell him that he has to be quiet seriously because he was making noise. He was surprised because the parents were shocked. He ask the parents to call their boy and he ask in front of their parents if it was tru that he has hit him. The kids reaction was telling the truth crying. Thanks for sharing with us this story and the video. Have a nice day.
