Hello fellow mylotters! I just got back from school and you know what, I saw a couple of guys wearing skirts. It seems to be a fashion trend these days... What's your opinion about this? If you were a guy, would you wear a skirt?

well i think its true but that necessarily means clothes for me. I think if you know who you really are it doesnt really matter if you wear a skirt, or hug a man or whatever.

Scottish men used to wear kilts, and they look like a type of skirt. I have nothig against it as long as I can differentiate between the genders. Personally I would not wear a skirt. I think it is too risky because while a woman can bare almost everything, a man may be charged with indecent behaviour should a strong wind blows in the wrong direction.

Do you go to school in Scotland or Hawaii? Or are the guys at your school trannies? I haven't seen that fashion trend yet.

breisa! I don't like to wear skirts. I am comfortable in the dresses that are designed for men alone and I don't want to experiment something not in the list. I consider people who wear girl's dress to be transgenders. It is the ladies' habit to copy men's style.

My husband used to wear skirts in school during our college days. But if he wears skirts now I'd sure freak out. Skirts are for women. It's a type of clothing that we only see women wears, unlike pants which can be worn by either men or women.

one thing to consider. when women first wore trousers it was shocking, and something that only men wore. this is what men wearing skirts would face now. maybe one day down the line it will be as normal for a man to wear a skirt as it is now for a woman to wear trousers. clothing in culture changes with time. and you have to see that a woman in trousers was as extreme as a man in a skirt, once. so it's entirely possible that it will one day be normal

do you mean kilts or skirts? I like kilts. I once saw a man wearing a plain black kilt, and I thought it was extremely smart looking. and of course I've seen Scottish people wearing tartan kilts fairly regularly. it's usually more formal wear than casual though. if it's proper skirts, it's unusual, but not unheard of. and if they're confident enough to pull it off, hats off to them.

I am a man and I will not wear a skirt, but I have nothing against men wearing kilts. There were some attempts of skirts for men since the 60's in my country, but they never were popular : I saw maybe three in the last twenty years, approximately the same number than kilts in the street during a month of holidays in Scotland -- I except military kilts --.
