Hi codris, i like to listen to music or watch TV before going to sleep. I will get good sleep if i listen to my favorite songs in a slow volume. I feel its like a lullaby.

Hi Jotomy: I agree with you. Listen to music before going to sleep it's like a lullaby, you feel protected, I think. At the same time, I need to add that my father likes to listen the news on the radio while sleeping so maybe that's the reason why I love to sleep while listen to music. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day. ALVARO

Hi, I like to listen to music but somehow i can't sleep while i listen to music. I need absolute silence before i can fall asleep. My daughter, on the other hand, can sleep with the music on or the TV. I think she's like her mother.

Nope, never. Also, I may be an exception to your statement that "everyone likes music" in that I hardly ever listen to music when given a choice. I tolerate it when friends are around, since for some reason most of them are highly into music. So maybe I will have some on for them when they visit, but I turn it off the second the leave.

Usually, no. I like peace and quiet when I am sleeping and/or falling asleep, so music or noise makes it harder for me, actually. So quite the contrary!

Same here!! I love music and music is something I enjoy while falling asleep. It also happens when I am not feeling asleep then I listen to music and the magic begins.. Music is an art form whose medium is sound. Music Is The Heart Of Our Soul. I love romantic songs and can listen whole day while working, sleeping and doing just leisure talk. Music of course heals and relieve stress at times.

Hi, codris. Yes, I have fallen asleep a many times with the music playing. I would have headphones on and I would fall asleep to the radio playing while I am asleep. I did not like to hear the silence that was in my bedroom, so I put on music to listen to.

i have sleeping issues. can only sleep to maximum 4 hours a day, which is very rare. more often is 2 hours. i don't always fall asleep whenever i'm listening to music, but when i do, almost always, it's a real tight sleep. even if it's heavy metal.

if i have trouble sleeping, i listen to meditation music, because its calming and i just use my cellphone and set it so that it will only play enough songs to let me fall asleep.

Music can help you fall asleep, old songs do, especially during siesta time.. ;)) But before I can sleep at night, I really do want total silence... I haven't experienced falling asleep with my earphones still attached though.. hehehe

My brother likes to have music before going to sleep and while sleeping. Funny that if anyone turn the radio off, he wake up and get angry and will turn it on. Before I had trouble on sleeping, I listening to music as my driving force to sleep until waking up while the music is still on.

Yes I do! and my dad always have to check me in my room to turn off my radio and my walkman (walkman-guess my age was revealed...hehehe!)because I always fall asleep listening to my favorite DJ or listening to musics. But you know in listening to music I don't usually fall asleep that instant because of the songs I reminisced things that happened before, i remember my old crushes,or reminisced my years in school with my old friends. or fall in love over and over again to the song hoping there is someone comes from God that I could dedicate the wonderful and sweets songs that I'm hearing. Hehehehe! God bless.

I don't think I can fall asleep to music, maybe if it was distant in the background. But if I had head phones or something close to me and the sound was turned up, then no, I couldn't be able to focus on falling asleep. Distant noise is fine, but if it's right on top of my ears or close to me it's too distracting and I'd have to turn the music off before being able to fall asleep.

Yeah it happens to me all the time. When i go to bed,i keep thinking about random stuff.I can't do anything but think about useless things and consequently i can't go to sleep. So to avoid this,i pop up headphones into my ears and listen music untill i cross into a state of oblivion.Infact i've made a playlist for every day of week and i change it on every sunday.I got so much addicted that lately i found that its almost impossible for me to go to sleep without listening music.

Hello Codris, For me, it depends, if the music that I play before going to sleep is somehow a disco song or kind a mix, I will not fall asleep as easy as that. However, if I will going to hear a love song or somehow ballad from the player, before sleeping, the tendency is, I will easily fall asleep. Maybe, the music that clings to my ear starts to relax and tone down my muscles that's why I fall for sleep easily.

People like music,it's normal,I like music too,and I like to use music to help me fall into sleep, but I always choose the most favorite songs and put them in the sing-loop list,so the music will not last too long,it just stopped itself after I fall aseep, but I only like classic music,I don't like pop,or rock, jazz or something, that kind of music will always keep me awake, just like coffee.

I used to, a long time ago, when I was tired, listening to trance or more specifically Radioseven, my favourite online radio.I stay in the bed and listen to music and eventually fell asleep, but that was long time ago.Recently that hasn't happened since I'm listening to radio very rare because of not enough time or I forget.
