It is said that olive oil is good for health and to reduce weight. Since then I have started using olive oil in salads. Long ago I was using kitchen oil. I often make salads so I prefer to use olive oil although it is a bit expensive....do you use olive oil in salads?

I don't use it in salad, but I do cook with it every time I cook something.

Olive oil is so good for you and I use it not only for salad dressings but for virtually anything that I cook that requires the use of oil. I use Pam with olive oil to cut down on calories and I just bought some of the olive based salad spritzers this week

Hello, Velentina. I use olive oil for everything - cooking, salad dressings, whatever. It's good fat, being monounsaturated, but as it is fat, it's still high in calories, so you need to limit the amount you use. Olive oil is good for the heart, and good for the skin, and we all need some fat in our diets. Extra virgin is best, as it hasn't been processed so much.
