Arizona Senator Jon Kyl said that in a one on one with the President that Obama said they wouldnt send more help until Republicans capitulate to immigration reform. This makes sense. No matter what the Administration comes up with, the Republicans will get lambasted for not agreeing with it in order to get help on the border. The White House says this is not true BUT Securing the border will require legislation. You can read more here http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/06/21/kyl-obama-wont-secure-border-lawmakers-immigration-package/ Do you think Obama is holding security hostage? Do you think Obama has the best intentions? Why do you think they havent taken care of this already?

The thing about this: This is no surprise. Those of us who understand Obama's line of thinking already know that is one of the reasons he's done nothing. Another, the hispanic population in the country is the fastest growing demographic...if you can win them over, you have a very nice group voting for you. It's all political with Obama. If you need to find motivation for most of the things he does, it's either politics or expansion of government ideals. Examples: This, the Arizona lawsuit, the Jones Act, the WH ignoring Jindal, the moratorium on offshore drilling, etc. The real question to me is, does he actually think these things are what's best for the American people? Or just the best for himself, the DNC, and the statist elites?

I just cant see where he is trying to benefit the people. Everything is a political move and meant ti benefit a small group.

That's how elitists work. Institute policies that help your friends and propagandize it to make the people think it's "best for them".

Isn't this just another case of politics as usual? No matter what the subject is, the democrats and the republicans aren't going to come together in agreement without angering their base.

When someone presents a different version than what the Administration reports they are lying. Interesting is that what seems to be logical and the facts seem to back it up the statement the Administration insists to call them liars. It makes you wonder who is not telling the truth?

Nothing Obama does to get his own way surprises me. It is no secret that we need some serious Immigration Reform and have needed it for years. However what really scares me is that there will also be some legal doublespeak to sneak Obummer's special Amnesty Project through with out our knowledge!!!

I think your right. I think now they are just contemplating whether to do it before or after the election.
