Why do you think women live longer than men?

I don't know the exact reason why women live longer than men, but I guess that it might be related to blood circulation difference between men and women. I wish you knew what I mean. Could that be the main reason why, please? Take care and enjoy your life, Pose.

Men are more stressed than women and they worry about the financial responsiblities of the household of money for rent, food, light bill,car payment insurance, retirement,college funds, allowances,lunch money,insurance,new clothes, family entertainment,the work place and etc. And they constantly worry about something that is adding more stress and they will not reach out and let others know that something is bothering them, A lot of them will keep it to themselves when women will communicate better with each other when something is worrying them men will not look for that extra shoulder to lean or cry on or ask for a hug,advice or seek and find ways or someone to talk to when they are overwhelmed with problems and stress. Sometimes he will not even let his wife know at all about the problem or problems He may be having he might mention it once or so because he do not want his wife or mate to panic and start getting or feeling stress and worried because then he will start thinking that the problem is going to start heading towards a break up if he keeps discussing it or if he can not get the situation under control so that is when the wife need to look for any strange behavior and ask is anything wrong and let him know that she is their for him in any supportive manner that he may need instead of letting his behavior become too obvious and his response explosive.

it is hard to say really. it seems that this has always been the case though. certainly women work as hard as men do. maybe its the way men handle stress?

I think it is probably because women tend to take care of themselves better then men. We also make sure we get our yearly checkups more often then men. A lot of times men have to be half dying before they will even go to the doctors.

I guess, because women has a better stress management. They are less afraid to show their emotions, as they are more expressive, thus they are able to vent out negative vibes more easily. The less stress and worry free, the more healthier mentally , emotionally and physically!

I tihnk women overll have a better lifestyle. They do healthy workouts like yoga or non-contact martial arts and eat better. Men on the other hand to jobs like construction workers and football players. (not saying girls can't do that too) I also think women are overall more careful. They care more about their bodies then men. (again not saying all men are roughneckers) Ineteresting topic though.

POose123 I really think its because when we women feel ill we go to our doctors to find out what is wrong with u s. When our husbands feel ill they will absolutely have to be forced to go to their doctor. Hence a lot of times a tiny cancer that'could have been treated in a man is let go until it invades his whole body. My own husband had a hemorrhoid that was terribly painful and I' was concerned to the point I finally go him to go to a doctor. the first biopsy did not show anything but he got worse so we went to 'a different doctor who took one look and said get to the cancer clinic at UC I so we did and he had to have his rectum removed and a lot of his colon. He survived for ten more years to die of a heart attack. He would not quit smoking.So I feel we just take better care of our 'health and thus we live longer. I think now perhaps a lot of men encouraged perhaps by wives do go to their doctors sooner and get themselves treated.

I do belive that women live more than man because our girls work less, and if they are working more, are working easier.The are rarely seen women who work in constructions or something hard. But, as i saw until now, women want more and more to become and to make all that men are doing, and because of that, it will be harder for themself to live longer, and step by step they will live less than men.

It has something to with lifestyle I think. More men drink and smoke. More women are conscious about their health rather than men. I think its not the main reason but could be one of the reasons.

I seriously think that because men don't cry. They don't express their emotions freely and would choose to bottle up their emotions. To much negative emotions is bad for the body

I really think a woman eat better than a man and they are more active than a man and they keep their self up.

I think because women talk more than men in that way women can release their stresses easily.Most men not all,tend to hide their emotions and it is very stressful to do that and can have impact on physical and mental health.They also tend to keep their problems on their own(again not all men)and try to solve it on their own and most of the time they don't tell their problems to their friends(because they are men and society thinks that it is a weakness which is not true).Women also are more positive in life and loves to mingle to other people,women are more open and most women have friends that they can share their secrets and problems.There's a study that being positive about life and having friends can prolong life.Negative disposition can impact the effects of stress in the heart.

Because men worked alot than women and they have more vices that surely affect their bodies.
