How many hours do you spend online? Is it all worth it on your time or wasted?

Personally I normally go online during nap time of my baby. Approximately 3 hours a day, and seldom at night. I don't want to spent it away from getting a good night sleep, and prevent me from doing my everyday obligations.
Before getting into money making online, I spent my time online only in Facebook, twitter, and friendster, it's not wasted though because I'm able to reconnect with my friends, classmates and acquaintances. It's my free stress reliever. And even more worth it because I'm able to earn a little online, like mylot, you share and learn from others and you are paid for it.

I have 2 kids. My oldest one is now 5, but when she was a baby, I would go online when she took a nap too - while I was pumping!! And now she doesn't nap anymore, but I also have a 7 month old. I go online only if my oldest one is occupied and the little is sleeping. My oldest one slept very well so I could be online for a long time. My little one doesn't sleep as long and plus I have my oldest one, so I don't go online as much. I like to think my online time is not wasted. I go to myLot because I like to discuss stuff that I can't seem to discuss with my real life friends and Facebook to connect with my real life friends. Being online is literally my window to the outside world - so I'll enjoy every second of it - hee hee!

When you really have children, you have to be smart to find your ways to find the suitable time so you will still be able to do what you enjoyed to do. I agree with you my lot gives you the opportunity to discuss anything that you can't discuss with your friends, or even to your family and so much more with your husband. I'm a beginner of mylot and I enjoyed it too.

Well welcome to myLot then!! We give our all to our children, but it's also important to make sure we are enjoying our lives too. I guess being online is sort of like a hobby for me - but at least a past time for sure (even if it's not a lot of time). I forgot to say that I admit to staying up too late being on the computer some nights . . . I will lose some sleep and pay for it the next day. But it's all worth it - hee hee.

I go online usually to look for good deals and coupons and for items I couldn't find in stores. When I'm done online shopping, i check my facebook to catch up with my cousins who lives far away from me. It seems like they're all on FB already...e-mails became useless. lol I also try to catch them up on yahoo messenger. Other times I look up for some cures on health issues and get more info about the problem. I think that's about it. I don't want to spend so much time online cause it's also boring. Oh and I go on Youtube to check out some shows that I missed on tv. Here on Mylot I'm like come and go though. It's just cool to voice my opinion on some topics. That's about it...all in all i spend about 3-4 hrs a day online but not straight...i come and go. Good post. Thanks!

I really don't know how much time that I spend online. I don't usually keep track of the amount of time that I'm online. It's not that important to me. I don't really consider it really time wasted. In some instances it could be time a little better spent, but either way, I don't think that it's entirely wasted. I do think that it is time worthy.

I spend longer time online. i spend longer hours during the night when there is no school for my kids the next day. I write articles and search for sites to write. Just started a month ago to earn online.
