I have been trapped for almost an hour on a traffic jam due to a road accident which was happened ahead. An hour to stay in car doing nothing but to move every little inch while the road is to busy. I read almost all the magazines which was in front of me within that hour. And its really feel so bad moving like a turtle just to pass the busy road. How about you my fellow myLotters, have you ever experienced to have been trapped on a traffic jam? How long your experienced was? And what you usually do during this kind of situation. How do you overcome your boredom or not to feel irritated during traffic. Hope to hear from you my fellow myLotters.. Thank you and Have a nice day ahead!!!

After the Northridge earthquake, it took 2 hours to get to my parents house. Usually it's an hour on a bad day. Nothing much I can do other than listen to the radio or talk to whoever else is in the car with me.

Hi cloud, actually I always experienced here in Philippines a traffic, especially in Manila. But I remember the longest time that I was been trapped in a traffic was when an airplane was crashed in a south superhighway. I took for almost six hours in a road. I'm really upset because my back and buttock is aching due to long hours of sitting in a bus. Would you imagine that your in a bus without moving and sitting for six hour in an passenger seats. As if your helpless that time I can't forget that experienced.

It was about 14 years back. Then I was not having a car.I was riding back from my office in the evening.I got trapped in one of the worst traffic jam because of a rally organized by a mindless political party.I got stranded for about two hours.I was not having a cellphone then.I shudder to think of that night even now.

Yeah, I did have been trapped in a traffic jam for an hour or so many years back. It's during the forth day of one Chinese New Year festival. Normally the traffic on the expressed way was smoothly. For driver was allowed to drive at the maximum speed of 110 km per hour. And there were double or triple lanes for slow vehicle slow and fast vehicle to move in their respective lanes fluently We were on our way to the neighbor town to attend the festive family gathering in a restaurant held by my elder brother and sister in law who lived there. After we had moved on the expressed way for a while our car was trapped in a a long queue. We were fortunate that it's was a moving queue as we still could move forward sluggishly. Later on we realized that the long queue was caused by an accident happened early on the way to our destination. When passing the spot we could see workers still clearing the way. After riding for a short while the slow moving queue became shorter and we then could move in a faster speed smoothly. Anyway we were still late for our gathering for almost an hour Happy posting

Anyone who has had to commute to the city to work or other reasons has been stuck in a traffic jam at least once. Usually, I've been able to get off the freeway and go around the bottle neck, though.

The longest time that I've ever been caught in a traffic jam was actually about seven hours when I was a senior in high school. We were staying in Fort Lauderdale during our spring break and we had a day trip planned to Key Largo to go snorkeling and during the time that we were snorkeling, wild fires broke out in the Everglades. Because of the wildfires, the ability to travel on Highway 1 was limited at best. They were only able to open one lane at a time and it took forever to get back to the place that we were staying.

I was waiting for the traffic light clearance on a sloppy bridge, when suddenly I was hit by the car behind me, and I think nearly 4 cars were banged, this is in Dubai. You cannot move until the police arrive at the site and hands us the clearance slip with the verdict. I reached office at 11 a.m instead of 8 a.m. Just was not my day in office as well.

I remember one year getting home from the state fair took us about two hours because of traffic. This is the only time I can remember. I live in a capitol city and traffic out on the interstate has gotten bad at time but I never go that route. This one time I was on my main stree coming back and it was just very conjested.

I had this experience long time ago. It takes me more than 2 hours (gosh,i want to freak out) I don't know what make the traffic jam,but what i can remember is,i really got bad mood by that time. I don't want to talk with anyone, and i even want to walk, but it is too hot outside so i decided to stay inside the bus(good thing i ride in an airconditioned bus) It's not fun to be caught in a traffic. Have a good day always

This has happened to me so often. Just to cover the distance of 75 kilometers I took more than three hours. I had to move at snail’s pace because of traffic jam. In Mumbai, we do not have flyovers and many flyovers are under construction. Besides, there is a metro rail project is coming up. I shudder at the idea of going through such heavy traffic. I listen to some music. That is my way of whiling away my time.

The longest time I was trapped in a traffic jam was almost the whole night. I think a truck that was transferring oil had toppled over in front of the road so the traffic was stopped completely. The driver wasn't hurt but it was a big mess. It took five hours at the least for them to clean up the spill and move the truck. It is hard to sleep in a car.

i can't remember how long it took me to reach the house at that time. it happened when a volcano erupted far north of manila. everyone where affected by the earthquake so everyone got out of their workplace, all together. not sure if it was a noontime but i remember i reached home almost six in the afternoon. the workplace i was on that time only takes less about an hour and a half to get home.

The highest is 3 hours. this was during the monsoons. In mumbai when it rains heavy there is a lot of water logging and the vehicles move at a very slow pace. i was on my way to the office and it was a high tide. My duty was at 3 pm and i reached office at 7.30 pm. But other wise if i am caught in a traffic jam and the traffic does not move, i dont wait for the traffic to move, but i move.
