Do you shop at Aldis? I find it a good way to save money. They carry mostly their own products though, there arent a lot of name brand products in the store.

I shop there frequently but have found a some things to be more expensive than the Kroger store brand where I do most of my shopping. There are some things though that we prefer to get from Aldi like their corned beef hash and canned roast beef which we use a lot of in the winter.

They typically have excellent prices on canned goods, and most of their produce is below market price.

I do get their celery and sometimes broccoli or cauliflower but here it isn't always the best quality.

When I was a child there was an Aldi shop close to the place where my grandmother lived and when I visited her and we usually bought candy in Aldi They had some kinds of German candy and other things that you couldn't find in other shops, and that is one of the things I remember from my childhood. Today I live in a area where are no Aldis so I usually do my shopping somewhere else, it is a pity because I like Aldi and it is a nice way to save some money.

Stine was posting about that the other day. She said they originated in Germany. Pretty smart people, huh? Frugal people are in heaven at Aldis.
