Proof enough for me

My Grand daughter is 3 and a b it years old. Lately when she has been feeling poorly at night she has told her Mum there are "peoples in my bedroom". We have all had this havent we and my daughter thought she was delerious. Today while my daughter and I were talking about this we asked her (she was engrossed in playing at the time) if the "peoples" in her room were men or ladies. She casually replied Lady. My daughter and I then later went and got a lot of photos and looked at them knowing that little 3 year olds are nosy and would have to see what we were looking at. My Grand daughter pointed to a lady, my Mum who passed away in 2003 and stared at her picture and after a few minutes she said "thats the Lady in my bedroom" How do I and my daughter feel? happy that we know who the "peoples" are and over time we can tell my Grand daughter, We have always known that Mum would look after everyone and now know for sure. We also feel a bit jealous as we would love to see her and talk to her. We now remember her in her room laughing and talking to someone we could not see and so know who now. I would love to know your thoughts on this

I think that I would definitely be relieved to know that the peoples that are in her bedroom are there to watch over and protect your granddaughter instead of someone that might have a much different intention for her. I think that her "knowing" her great-grandmother will make it nice when she gets older and she wants to learn more about those people that she never had the opportunity to know and beyond that, I think it is a gift that she gets to "spend" time with her.

I hear about this a lot. Small children being able to see the spirits or loved ones that have passed. I think it could be true. What a wonderful thing to know that they are watching over us.
