How about it: You've committed adultery, killed thousand people, abused religions, and then there's a fire squad waiting for you! But before, someone said, "no matter how many sins you've made, God the merciful, will forgive you?" What do you think

it depends on your sincerity and true intentions when asking for forgiveness for such sin. But yeah, according to the Christian teaching God will forgive you no matter how sinful you are as long as there is true repentance. I don't know how it goes with other religions. BUt this is what I've been taught.

The Bible says that no matter what you have done in your past, God still loves you. He wants to save your soul, but before he can, you must believe in him and believe that he can save you. He wants you to repent of those sins and ask him to be your savior. You see, he don't force himself on no body, but he wants to save you. That is why Jesus went to the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. If we were perfect people God he would not have sent his son. The Bible tells us that Satan was fist in Heaven and thought he could do what God does. So, God threw him out of Heaven and made Hell his place. All who do not accept Jesus as their Savior, will go to this place when they die. We are born into this world of sin and Satin is the ruler. We need to be "born again" or "accept Jesus as our Savior" to do that. Even after we are saved, we still will sin. That is when we have to pray and ask God to forgive those sins then. WE still have that old body the flesh. He saves our soul. Maybe some think that they can't live that life, but we can't if we try to do it ourselves. WE can only believe in God and ask forgiveness and get saved. You don't have to be in church to pray to God and get saved, but after that, you do need to go to a good church and tell the Pastor what you did so he can baptize you. The reason for that is, he don't want you to be ashamed of him and ashamed of what you did. He wants you then, to tell others what marvelous thing happened to you. If you believe that the Bible is the true word of God, here is a few scriptures that will lead you along the way. Please read; Romans 3:10 Romans 3:23 Romans 6:23 Romans 5:8 Romans 10:9-13 If you read all these scriptures in this order, you will understand it better. I truly hope this has helped answer your question. cricket10

well as the man said, dear God help me feet please move me now, then duck and run like hell. just kidding but he or she better pray real fast as bullets may move faster than prayers. I really think this person may be a good candidate for hell. I believe God forgives but how many times? I mean this person you are talking about seems to have used up God's patience.seems to me.

Matthew 18:21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times" (NIV) Jesus then tells the parable of the unforgiving servant, the servant was forgiven by his master for big debts, but the servant refused to forgive a little debt owed to him (Matt 18:22-35) v35 tells us: This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless your forgive your brother from your heart"

No compulsion to agree on something, Hatley. You have the right to stick to what you believe in.

there is always a compassionate for that. but we have to do some extra great behave to 'delete' the sins and make it clear just like a white paper. we have to try to do the best we can as long as we live and never give up that the god will give mercy to us

Even when repent comes late? What kind of behavior to redeem one, I wonder.

If a person can choose to commit all those crimes, clearly more lessons are needed. As far as hell goes, isn't there a much better way to deal with those wayward children. Let's not forget God is much smarter than mankind who simply destroys to solve the problem.

God will forgive you if you believe on HIm and that Jesus Christ is the son of God, that HE came to earth in the flesh, and also that you are truly sorry for your sins, that you really deserve that firing squad. So you just cannot say "I believe in God," and think that the firing squad will go away and for the governor to give you the pardon. In other words, your repentance has to be real ==and if it is not, when the bullets strike your body you will not wind up in heaven, you will wind up in hell.

I'm afraid we're the ones who want the big sins to go to hell, but God is not willing that any should parish. That is why if we confess our sins are repent and accept His gift of salvation for us through His Son, Jesus the Christ, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

You're "God" just doesn't care if you are pure or a sinner or what sins you've committed. IT will kill you sooner or later. Since there IS NO Heaven or Hell, I wonder what good is to worship an EVIL "God"

God is Just and powerful! you cannot do that all sorts of activities and hope for God's Mercy.. if suppose God forgives you then what about those people who have suffered due to your acts?? ..they too hope in God that they may get justice..due to your wrong acts.. God is Just and Merciful too.. the nature of human is to make mistakes but you cannot make mistakes and hope for the mercy.or mistakes as the reason for mercy. if God starts to forgive everyone in this fashion then the concept of sin and punishment doesn't exist.. if God starts to be merciful in this way, then whom will God punish?? you try your level best to avoid sins.. God is the most merciful to forgive.. and... Remember! God doesn't forgives big sins unless the sinner repents it sincerely!
