In support of child rape, the Swiss have decided to free Roman Polanski

Not a whole lot more to say on this one. It just disgusts me the way so many Europeans just don't give a crap about children who are raped. Yes, I know that it's not like the entire continent of Europe supports child rape, but it has been acceptable and a major industry in Eastern European countries for a long time and the nation of France was united in their defense of this child rapist. Now we can add the Swiss to that list. Pedophiles, you all know where your safe haven is now.
For those unfamiliar with this story, this scumbag has already admitted to his crime and plead to a lesser charge a long time ago. He fled the country to avoid serving the entirety of his sentence and spent most of his time in France where they protect pedophiles. He was apprehended in Switzerland where the US had hoped he would be extradited to the US to finish his sentence (which was already far too weak for his crime). Several Hollywood elite including Harrison Ford, Penelope Cruz, and Whoopi Golberg sided with him as well as hundreds of European actors and filmmakers singing a petition saying he shouldn't have to serve his sentence for drugging and raping a 13 year old girl. Well it's nice to know where the Swiss stand on the issue. These people make me sick.

While I do not condone child rape, do not support the decision made by the Swiss, I think that it is also important that we remember that there are some youngsters who often go to Hollywood (and some at the urgings of their parents) and somehow assume that they must do anything to get inside Hollywood. It bothers me more that a 13-year old was left to hang around with an older man unsupervised. I have seen some very young children do some very shocking moves that only an angel could resist. I wish parents would learn to supervise their young and promising children in the company of older folks.

Matersfish, of course we all hope that adults would be respectful of children and aim to be role models of decency; but that is often not the case. It is very unfortunate and I look forward to seeing pedophilias punished for their acts. Meanwhile, I always encourage women (and parents of youngsters) to employ all necessary precautions in defense of children: We know that there are people out there with no self-control, including even clergymen, who do not hestitate to prey on the vulnerable.

This is just further proof of if you are rich and famous that rules and laws don't apply to you. If this would have been some average joe...he would have been send back and the whole thing done and over with fast. But oh no...he is famous so he does not have to pay for his crime.
A 13 year old girl. How sick is that? He is a phedophile. Plain and simple. But because of who he is, how much money he has and who he knows...well that makes it all ok.
It really makes me wonder about all those celebrities that took up for him...how can you justify what he did to a 13 year old girl? You can't. You know why they did it...they could care less about what he did...they only care about maybe being cast in his next movie.
He better make sure he goes straight home to France and never leaves because the US still has a warrant out for him. If he travels to a country that has an extradition treaty with us...we WILL go after him again.

OMG! How could I have missed this?!
This is horrible! How could anyone with a heart protect this man? If I could only name one thing that I hate from the bottom of my heart it would be pedophiles.
I was raped by a pedophile when I was 11years old and it still haunts me till this day and I am ashamed of Switzerland and all these actors/celeberties that is protecting this man. He should get life-sentence or even more, the punishments for these kind of crimes are a joke!
