I Love Precious Moments

Does anyone know the figurines I am talking about? They are so cute, and adorable. My mom has a few pictures of precious moments. One says "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures" and then I forget what the other one says. I was looking on their website one time and to me there just wasn't enough variety to choose from. I am thinking of purchasing a few once my husband and I get our own place, or maybe asking for a few for Christmas or something. They are a bit steep in price though. So does anyone else like these figurines?

I am wondering if there's any seller that might have them for cheaper somewhere, or even on freecycle now that would be nice! I hope you can get some yourself one day.

Yes, I do! My mom has about 12 Precious Moment figurines. My dad bought her a couple, and several more have been gifts over the years. She didn't consciously collect them, but now she has a nice set. They are displayed in the book case in her living room. I have a couple of them myself. One has a little saying, along with my birthstone set in the figurine.

Have you ever been to the Precious Moments chapel in Missouri? It's amazing.

I have never been to the Precious Moments Chapel, I am not even sure that I knew of it's existence to be honest. I read your response before so that might be why I have a feeling of recollection on the matter, lol. Precious Moments are expensive but such a cute little treasure, and I think perfect for a little girl's room provided they're up high, and would be a treasure when the little girl grows up... Guees you know what that means :D

Those are cute. I did an oil painting for someone once that was a precious moment girl praying. I was very proud of it.

I absolutely adore Precious Moments. Before I developed carpal tunnel I used to do plastic canvas stuff. I bought a book Precious Moments on plastic canvas. It was a challenge but I made my daughter a wall rug; that wall rug was stolen and she was devestated so I made her another one. As far as buying the figurines, have you looked on Ebay? A lot of people think Ebay is all used stuff but you can buy new items there too.

Yes I also like those figurines Amber But I just don't know how to collect them Perhaps I would dream that someone would give me that this christmas.... Because it would a happy feeling knowing that someone think of you .... and they would just spend money for you buying those nice figurines as a gift for christmas or any special celebration on your life like birthday.... God bless Amber, happy mylotting for always

Oh so that's what they are called. Last year, I remember visiting a friend of a friend's house where I saw these figurines in a display case. I'm sure the owner loves her figurines. Not for me though. I would just dread cleaning them up, and the kids hitting or playing with them. I would end up with a hundred broken pieces.
