I am not a computer techie, but i always see this ads or pop ups in the internet about anti-virus company that kills or eliminate viruses in our Computer and i really don't know how to deal with this viruses...If you noticed when you upload one, it will instantly check your computer and comes up with viruses detected,it will harm your computer if not deleted .BUY NOW!have you encountered the same,i was thinking that this anti-virus company created the virus itself, its a Marketing strategy, and its one way of getting sales and profits...i know there are Legal Companies out there, but some are Illegal too..Did these anti-Virus Companies made the Viruses,to make Profit?Share your views? Thanks!

That is why i don't use microsoft windows anymore.why? See a windows operator don't buy antivirus, instead to go for a free one so that they can be sure of anti fraud. why not go for complete free os? think about it.

The pop-ups are not from real anti-virus companies. They are from peopole out to get your hard earned money. Even after making the payment your computer status will not get any better. Most probably you will have to do something else to get rid of the problem. The pop-up IS a virus. As for legitimate anti-virus companies they may create something to test the robustness of their products.

This has been an old conspiracy. True, some of the companies MAY make viruses if they find sales to be low. But generally, they don't do it. They hire some other people to do it. But, this has never been or rarely proven to the public.

Yes ,I've heard all of these speculation too in the past, but unfortunately as you have said,it's not yet proven and really hard to prosecute the culprits....Thanks a lot...

Reminds me of those medicines you buy to take care of the symptoms of a sickness, but they don't do anything to the sickness itself and actually give you other symptoms as side-effects. The closest thing I have to an "anti-virus" on my computer is cCleaner (I think it's free ... 'Search the Web' for "cCleaner"), which erases pretty-much all the files on my computer that I don't put on there myself (or -that weren't on the computer when I got it). Just don't download anything you're not going to use.

Hi friend, some companies are in this sort, they will spread some virus and create a software to remove that one, but not all the online anti virus companies are in this sort. Some anti virus software are available for free and we can download them to protect our system without spending any dime
