when i watched the 3 twilght films i never really think that there was a better vampire or weirwolf movie than twilight. The special effets are really great eventhough there's some mistakes of the movie but that's just normal. The important thing is that many people are enjoying the movie.

I bought TWILIGHT recently and watched it for the first time. I could definitely see that it was aimed at a much younger age group than mine....I'm 42. While the movie wasn't bad it certainly wasn't the best. As far as movies with vampires and werewolves the UNDERWORLD movies are probably the best. As for vampires alone BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA and LOST BOYS are two classics that come to mind.

For me it is also the best vampire and werewolf movie ever. The vampires here are more human, and so are the werewolves. They are in this mythical world man was able to reach out. I would like to read and see more stories like this in the futures. Vampires and werewolves are still beings. They are not at all that bloody and dangerous.

vampires and weirwolves are not really, they are just fiction. Many also claim that they are vampires, you can see it in youtube that they drank blood but they don't have special abilities and for me they are just pretending. They really suck. But twilight as a movie is the best but it's not really real at all. you feel me joie?

hardly, this saga is more love story than vampires warewolves movie. The author created his own version of vampires and warewolves, she give them attributes that are not conventional to the folklore, that alone will be a big question to the premise, but if you like creativity and uniqueness then that would be a plus, else, if you are traditionalist that alone is a no-no. The only dominant feature in this film is its popularity among the youth and teenagers who adore the lead cast especially Edward. Critically (the expert) this movie is lame, but in my own personal preference the last (eclipse movie) is better but not that great.

No, I really didn't like the book nor the movie. Although of course I'm already 22, and my age group is not its intended market (but I do know some who are already in their late twenties and still enjoys twilight). Anyway, the effects and storyline were ok but not really remarkable. I also don't like the book's concept. But again, the book is for teens who like supernatural love stories with incredibly perfect, romantic, and indestructible leading man. Hey, that's what most of teenage girls dream of right? Anyway, to each his own.

The plot of twilight is a love triangle between a human, a werewolf and a vampire.I would consider it a love story rather than a vampire movie. The best vampire movie for me is the Underworld series.

Yeah Underworld definitely takes the cake for a great modern day vampire-werewolf rivalry. For a time I wanna be kate beckinsale after watching that movie but the part two is a let down.

No I don't think that Twilight is the best vampire werewolf movie. The special effects are good, but I think that the movie underworld was a much better vampire werewolf movie. Maybe the next twilight movie will be better.

The movies are ok, but I like Underworld better. I think they could have done better on this last Twilight movie. I wonder if the last one will be better. The idea of the story is great a girl having to choose between a wolf and a vampire, but I think that it could use more action sometimes. Twilight can be to lovey dovey sometimes.

I don't like vampires. Scratch that... I HATE them! I can't stand them! They're too darn popular for their own good! Let's see some stories about OTHER mythical creatures for crying out loud! Werewolves? Eh... getting there in the annoying scale. But I like Twilight. It's kind of my mutant love. So yes, Twilight's the best for me... but only because I don't like anything else that has to do with vampires.

I loved the books, and the films were pretty good too. When I took my daughter to see these movies there were more people in the 30-50 age range than teenagers to my suprise. A co-worker that was 56 got me into the saga. A lot of older people do like Twilight. On another note I do not think that they are the best. Bram Stokers Dracula is my favorite. I also enjoyed 30 days of night, Interview with a vampire and Daybreakers. Twilight is different, it is more of a love story with some action. The books and movies are fun in my opinion.

No I did not like it since compared to all of the other vampire and weirwolves it was not that good.Since I like to watch vampire and weirwolves movie and twilight was just a chick flick movie and "Romeo Must Die" is a much better chick flick. Also the weirwolves did not look like weirwolves more like giant dogs.

I respect your opinion about TWILIGHT but not good to me. The first part is just quite interesting but for the second, third and fourth I really don't support it! The movie INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE is much better for me.

Speaking of Bram Stoker's Dracula...his model for that was Vlad the Impailer, and wouldn't you know...Rob Patenson is a distant cousin to Vlad, and they are both distant cousins to the royal family in Britin. How's that for coincidence?

weeeell... everyone's entitled to their own opinions and taste but shiny vampires? come on. they said the books were good but i hated the movie so reading em would be pointless. if you want to talk about special effects, the Underworld Series is way better. even the Bram Stoker's Dracula which for me is the best vampire movie of all time. i could name at least 10 vampire movies that's better than the Twilight vampire thing/chick flicks. now don't be mad, your post was a question so i'm here to put my answers. :)
