Hello myLotters! What's your view about this matter? Ive been reading a book about different individuals who faced failures first before they reached the ladder of success. In your own opinion, do you believe in this thing or not? I'll be glad to know your thoughts!

Hi dear, Even though this is a simple worded usage, it has great value. A highly motivating medicine. It is not just a stimulus, we will get quality output also. I remember, few years back at my mood, I was completing a painting and was done all finishing works and kept for drying just before the last touch up work. Incidentally, the canvas slipped down and partially damaged. I was so sad and I dropped it. And after few days I inspired with the same mood and started make the same with more effort. Yes, it was amazing. I made with more attractive and it was far better from the earlier one I made before. So, if fails, keep trying will get better results. There are various reasons also. First of all our 100% dedicated involvement. Because earlier we have failed or the attempt was unsuccessful and we will try our maximum to get a better output. This itself is a reason for the success growth. So, failures are not only essential to become successful, failures are essential for a great and wonderful success. Regards, Thank-s

Hi thanks! I agree with what you said and i wanted to congratulate you for making a great painting, better than the one you made the first time. This was a good example on how you could turn failure into success. Just like what they said, try and try until you succeed, never ever attempt to give up because life's just like that, there's no sweet success without the taste of bitter failure. Have a wonderful week end ahead!

I think it's essential. Take Michael Jordan for instance. He said he missed shots ten times more than he made them. Look where he is now, he's an NBA hall of famer and lead Chicago Bulls to victory in the NBA finals six times. That's one successful man if you ask me. If you're not satisfie with that, search for Donald Trump's book. I think he wrote one. Or is it Vince Mcmahon?

Hello frontvision! That's what i believe as well. When i was in my early twenty's, i happened to dropped by at my favorite book store and found one wonderful book titled as "Dare to Fail". Im not sure about the name of the author and it really inspired me when I began to read its content, sad to say, even though i like the book so much, i can't buy it for i never had any extra money that time, though I never read it thoroughly because im inside the bookstore, my mind was really delighted into knowing that many successful individuals actually faced lots of failures before they reach their stars. Im searching for a job that then, so my fighting spirit really boosted that time when i began to know that anyone could actually turn failure into a huge success depending upon the way you handles those failures. I also read there that what happened to our lives is only 1% and 99% is how we reacted into it. I love to believe that we should never ever gave up in struggling even we're into the darkest situation in our lives for failures and problems was there to strengthen our characters. A challenge and not a hindrance into achieving one's dream in life. Good night!

There is a saying that says that the person who has never failed, has never tried. So yes, failure could be said to be a part of life. How would we know we succeeded if we didn't know failure to measure it against? Most of us has failed in something unless we are extremely lucky! _Derek

Absolutely correct, I agree! All of us experienced failures in our lives. Some of it didn't have so much impact but others create lasting wound that others may not understand and let failures bring them down. I strongly believe that any problems did have a solution, problems never stayed, it just come and go so whatever happened, its better if we try to overcome failures and turned it into huge success after wards. Good luck and good night!

I think failures are good teachers. They teach us how to be strong and wiser.

It says that " In life, there are lots of people watching our next move, desperately waiting for us to fail and even praying for us to give up...But don't mind them.. It just doubles the fun of living and surviving.. Let's keep in mind that failures and problems are not things we should be scared of.. They could lead to new breakthroughs and great discoveries... See life as an adventure and enjoy every moment of it." Failures really are good teachers for me, but it depends upon the students as well if they wanted to learn from their teachers so let's not waste the chance to grow and make our lives better than ever thru the help of failures. Have a lovely afternoon!

I agree, what you said is true and i wanted to share to you what i received as a text message from a friend that really came close to my discussed topic here in myLot and here's how it goes. "Don't be afraid to fail. Don't waste energy trying to cover up failure. Learn from your failures and go to the next challenge. Its all okay to fail. If you're not failing, you're not growing." Simple, but makes sense Good night and take care!

Failures are essential to success, because if we never got the chance to taste defeat we can never appreciate winning. And through our failure we learn, we get to be wiser, and we would avoid repeating the same mistake, therefore we'll be successful.

Hi there! i agree with you, yes, i think failures are essential to be successful provided that the one who failed learned from his previous mistakes and never gave up in reaching his goals in life though he may encounter lots of hardships, hard works and of course, failures, along his way. Good night!

It seems failure is necessary to keep on improving. Perhaps if we never failed further, it is usually because we have stopped reaching for that which are presently not capable of achieving... What do you think?

Hello there ruperto! That's right, failure is necessary for us to keep on improving on anything that's needed to be improve in our lives. But this depends on the one who failed because others gave up and let themselves became a victim of failure forever and never try to use this into improving him/her self. Good evening!

It needs friction to make a diamond sparkle. Yes failures are what makes us close to perfect. But this is if you know how to learn from your mistakes. Because if you don't you'll just keep on failing and not reaching success.

Yes. i do think that failures are essential(not necessary) to be successful..it helps you in learning from your mistakes (which i consider as failures at times). There have been many instances of great successful people who have failed in their life at somet time or the other and are successful in their life. One should never be affected by failure as they are the warning signals that the way one is doing things is not the right way and there is another way to success...so till this path is not known failures may occur...but one will ultimately succeed.

Hi there! I believe in that as well, that any one who failed in whatever aspect of their lives should not be swayed by the loneliness it brought to them, instead, they must regard the failure as a blessing in disguise to keep on improving and searching for the best that they could possibly do in order to climb the ladders of success. Have a nice day and keep on smiling!
