Yaa Christian do fasting and do prohibiting too, but the fasting would be different from Muslim, we may drink, but we are allowed only to eat enough food once a day, prohibiting the things we are very like, examples smoking, drinking, or eating salt, meat, etc, it is for one whole day, on the bible we are be taught to do fasting too, to remind ourselves about God, and to restrain temptation

Some Christians do fast. My sister has fasted when she needed to be closer to God. Of course there is Lint when we give up something and use that time to spend with God.
