Would anyone even care?

As some of you know on here my situation does not seem to be getting any better.
So I signed up on this website call gofundme.com.
Wrote honestly about the financial crisis I am in. Decided to tweet it out tonight.
Then I decided to do something a little crazier and tweet it to some very famous celebrities.
Am I crazy for thinking that any of these people would care or want to help? I think it is a little crazy?
I am not asking for any of my friends on here to donate unless you are here for fun and do not have money issues.

Oh Memnon, I know most on here are not in the position to help but also think if they could they would. Just like I would do for some of my friends on here. So far not so much as one person has even looked at it from Twitter but I thought it was worth a try.

In all honesty I think the likes of Twitter and Facebook are simply self promotion. They have a need to share their lives online. To me that says that there is something lacking in their lives.
We all share someting online here, but it's in response to interest. You may ask me how the garden is progresssing and I will send you a picture. On Facebook it's almost obligatory to post everything. I am not comfortable with that.
The survey site, in particular Palm and Lightspeed, will yield results, albeit slow.

I think after all weekend of getting not one response from this on Twitter you are really right.
Just have to keep plugging away on here and other sites.
People on here are so much caring than the people on Twitter that is for sure.

I don't think it's crazy at all. I think crazier things have happened. I know crazier things have happened. You never know. I wish you well, aurorastorm. And I commend you for the strength you have and the braveness you are showing by your honesty.

You never know but so far not anyone has donated or even seem to comment back on Twitter.
I am not going to give up, always trying to find other ways to make much needed money.
The really brave thing to do would be to share the link on facebook, where I know some of my friends that I have had would try to help but I am not ready for that amount of honesty yet. Who knows maybe I will get there one day.

hi aurorastorm I would not hurt your feelings for the world. I would have wished we had seen this site a year ago, as we were in some really bad troubles too. As for the celebs you never know as some of them really do
care about people less fortunate than themselves.So good luck and God
bless you. I hope you get the help you need. most of us on mylot have been through tough times too so we know where you are coming from.

So far not a hit yet, but I still thought is was worth a try.
Glad to know you are in a better way this year.
Gives me hope that I will come out of it eventually also.
That is why I love coming on here, feel so much less alone in my struggles talking to people on here.
Thanks for the hugs I can use them for sure.
