Will You retalliate?

Imagine you had a dirty argument with a fellow college student which turned into a dirty fight. You are standing alone facing your enemies and his gang. They all ready to teach you a lesson. What will you do?
1. Beg pardon and say sorry to your enemy.
2. You will try to fight them alone.
3. You will first surrender and then return with your gang the next day.
3. Later you will complain to the college authorities or to the cops.
What will you do?

If you ask me this question without mentioning college, I would say, I will try to find someway out of this mess, even I have to run away, I will do that because I have so many things to do in my life and I do not want to get into something like this.
However, as you have mentioned "college", that situation will be different. No matter who comes, no matter how many of them are there, if you have a good respect in your hostel, you will never back off. You will fight without thinking of any result. No one is "Neo" so you will get nicely, but in college days, all these things are common, while fighting, you will make sure that you have shown all your anger to any one of them such that he will remember it for rest of his life.
Please do not think I am describing violence, it is just my experience and if you still have doubt in my opinion you may this question to someone who stays in college hostel :)

What was the argument about? Did they steal something from you? That's a matter for the authorities. Was it an insult? If I am wrong, I am to apologize. If they are the ones who insulted me, I am mature enough to walk away. If it is just a philosophical difference of opinion, same answer.
