Are the Los Angeles Clippers Really A Cursed Team?

Every since I've been a fan of the NBA I've heard about the Clippers Curse. The Clippers have been the part of sports jokes for a long time due to how lousy they have been. Are they really cursed? I don't think their cursed as I don't believe in curses. I just think they were a losing team for so long that great players don't see nothing good out of being traded there. Still they have had plenty of top draft picks over the years but of course that doesn't mean your going land a franchise player such as a Lebron James or Shaquille O'Neal. Still out of all the attempts the Clippers have had in the NBA Draft it even seems like their cursed when trying to get the best draft pick for the team long-term, but then again I don't believe in curses. They lack luck as well as a good team.

im not really updated with the clippers but i think the owner doesnt really want to invest much. if they could only land a franchise player then i think even if they dont win a championship at least they can be a good contender in the future. even landing oneal in this season would help a lot. time will tell if they can do something about it.

what if lebron james, dwayne wade, kobe bryant, and dwight howard ended up going to the clippers together all in the same season they still didn't make the playoffs, lol. would you believe in curses then or the worst luck ever?

you kmow, there r two teams in la,and since the lakers is stronger than the clipper, the top players always choose to go there first, thats what i think about the losing team.

maybe the clippers should call a permanent truce with the lakers that states they will never face each other again. this might be the way to end the clippers curse, lol. if they don't face the lakers they won't have to deal with losing to them anymore which avoids the clippers looking like the dud while the lakers are the diamond or to put it in a better terms the gold. yes, they will most definitely continue losing to other teams but at least they wouldn't have to deal with losing in their own city to another team who calls the same city home. it could at the very least raise the clippers self-esteem by allowing them to say "i don't have to get beat by my big brother anymore"

I don't think the Los Angeles Clippers is a cursed team . They just happen to be playing on the same arena with the Los Angeles Lakers who is the current back-to-back champions in the NBA who are aiming for another 3-peat. I mean, if the Clippers is not based in L.A, it would not have been dubbed as the curse team when compared to the other L.A who wins championships after championships for many decades. Unlike the Clippers who lose season after season. So, I don't think its a curse. They just don't have the talents in their roster that will help them reach the playoffs. If and if they do reach the playoffs, the lack of experience bites them in the process. The case of the Los Angeles Clippers is just mere bad luck and bad decisions on draft picks.

hi elmiko I think they are not cursed at all but have not had a lot of top notch players or a really great coach. they need to regroup get some star players and a new better managers. then too they need a coach that will get the best out of them and so far they have not had a really great coach.

I don't believe in curses. But this team is cursed. They finally got a good draft pick. (Blake Griffin) , and look what happens to him. He gets injured for a whole season. So , I couldn't be lead to believe that this team isn't cursed.

I dont believe in curses , but seeing this team makes think twice again lol . They finally got a healthy (looks promising) Blake Grifiin struting his wares against the other NBA bigs . But they are still in the bottom of the standings . I really like the 'Elton Brand' days as far as I remembered they entered the playoffs once they had him that time .

YES! Every Clippers game that my mother and I have ever been to has resulted in the Clippers losing. They are just a lousy team. If the Clippers were won the World Championship, not only would Hell freeze over, the world would explode because it wouldn't be able to handle a "WTF?" moment of that caliber.
